Genrepalooza 3: Playlists are done, phwew (2 Viewers)

I'm not really sure how this draft works anymore, but I only picked one Oz song and didn't pick any Kiwis, so I'm gonna pick one here since I have no idea how no one picked anything of hers.  And then I'll move on to today's categories.

DJ Casper (aka Mr. C the Slide Man) - Cha Cha Slide

A pseudo-dance craze with more rules than Genrepalooza.  It's basically an instruction manual over a lame beat.

I don't even know the name of the song.  It's like a country rap? Something about a horse? 

My daughter keeps trying to make me listen to it (her own personal shtick) and I will walk out of whatever room she is in playing it.  One time she followed me downstairs, I grabbed my keys and left the house. (had to get gas for the week anyway, but that's how you checkmate your kid's schlock shtick)

In the original schlock draft, I turned over my 21st century picks to my daughter.  This one sparked controversy because first she hated it, then she loved it and then she hated it because she had once loved it.  What amazed me was how much of the rap she remembered because she was eight when it came out.

I love this song. A deeper cut than the more obvious one off of the album Witching Hour, but I love the reverb on the guitar.

For the spotlight hours, I'm going with a third Ladytron song. This was going to be my pick if the remixes category had stayed in.

Hah, I had a friend who was all about Ladyhawke. Hadn't listened to her stuff in ages, but it was good back then and it's still good now.

Also thank you so much 'cause I was drawing a blank trying to remember the name of a band/song I picked up from the FFA/#Hoof way back that I wanted to pick/spotlight. It's been kicking my ### for the last couple of days, but this jogged my memory.
