No way, come to Ann Arbor. Way better.
My SIL has a rich friend that went to Purdue, and he jokes that if he is good he would pay for him to go there.  SIL went to Michigan State, and the wife and I met while attending the UW.   He's getting pulled in all directions in the Big 10.

I mean I guess I could drive there and buy some and come back really my friend who has his card and gets me #### just needs to come back from his vacation .
Still can't cross the border with weed even tho it's legal on both sides as those are federal agents.

Sounds like he is getting pulled to some great basketball schools and Purdue.

How do you feel about drinking beer at 9 AM, being hungover at like 2 PM, and then continuing to drink all day, in like 90 degree heat, only to pass out in a tent for like 4 hours, wake up, not shower, and do it all over again the next day?
:lmao:

At my age that sounds like hell on Earth.
Me, Mrs Eephus and our daughter did "Couchella" last Friday.  We hung out on the couch, turned the speakers up and watched the live stream from Coachella.

The crowd shots looked like the opposite of fun to me.  If we were there, Mrs. Eephus would have punched somebody

Now this sounds like my speed.

My wife keeps dropping hints about CHRVCHES being at Summerfest this year, and I keep trying to nicely ignore her.  And that is small potatoes compared to Coachella.

Yeah, I can barely do lawn seats now
We line up early for club shows so we can get up front which tends to limit the scale of acts I see.   That's fine though; I'd much rather see a band with something to prove than one playing their hits for the thousandth time.

I think the last good sized club show I was very front and centre for was Japandroids. The mass of people pushing up on me/moshing, etc... probably made me feel older than I ever do at festivals.

We always stand off to the side.  Usually the pit action stays nearer to the center.

We chickened out and bought dinner seats for IDLES since it's our anniversary

Master P was huge in the Bay Area.  I didn't get him but I'm not the target demo.
He made an impression on the middle class Catholic kids in the Detroit area lol - even if we always knew he was kind of silly we still liked it

lol not that one. Was Master P a big hit with your age group? I was in 9th or 10th grade and he was the fist artist I remember really likely ironically but also not ironically
Not really, he was a little before our time....was still relevant but not huge.  2001 was our first eye-opener album.  Country Grammar was the premier album for school dances when I was early in high school.  A couple of my friends ended up getting really into the New Orleans scene, I always liked Lil Wayne, but Master P was kinda irrelevant.  I was more of a Roc-a-Fella guy before getting really into Rawkus/Okayplayer stuff by the time I got to college.
