They are using a Hammond b3 blues organ in the song + Susan's bluesy voice, and to me that is elements of the blues. I said a song doesn't have to be pure blues, but it needs to have elements of the blues in it. That doesn't mean it would score high if I were judging the category, but I think it's a nice rendition of the Dylan tune, and it suits me just fine as folk blues or blues folk.

I remember seeing this in theaters and completely falling for the movie with this scene and song. I haven't seen it since and hope that it would hold up... still a fan of the music.
