Changing toward concrete truth, or toward obfuscation?I’m telling you, the story is just now changing because of lawsuits. Too much technology in Las Vegas to get these BS answers.

Steve wynn is full of crap. He is campaigning to make it seem like his hotel is super safe.Actually Steve Wynn said 12 hours should have triggered an investigation. This is a suite, not just a room and a nice one at that. Lots of money and revenue tied into these, they don’t leave them vacate even with a do not disturb.
About 2:35 into video
You assume he fired 200 rounds through the door all at once. There's at least one report saying the first shots were without a bump stock... single shots. Campos took cover before the big volleys came down the hallway.Even ABC news says it was metal. The first press conference reporters asked if it was wielded with metal plates because of how much resistance there was in opening the doors as they couldn’t break them open like a lock on a door. They ended up prying it opening with likely a crow bar.

Another question is the timeline still does not make any sense. By all reports, he fires 200 rounds through room door when the security guard was supposedly at the door and hits him one time out of 200! Yet, the second suite door they keep showing images of does not have one hole in it, which is possible if fired at close range; however, takes me back to the guard was only hit one time in the leg from close range from shots that were likely fired at center mass height. Next, this all now occurred 6 minutes prior to the assault on the crowd. Even with a couple minutes to get 911 dispatch on the phone, police did not arrive on 32nd floor for 12 minutes after shooting on crowd started. This means 18 minutes after first shots fired on security guard, at which point the gunman had apparently already committed suicide? And still not any surveillance video of him entering casino with enough bags to have carried his arsenal up to his room, and not one bellhop has come forward to say they helped him with all these bags?
I know I have left my room at various hotels in Vegas with the no disturb sign up for days and never was contacted by anyone asking what was going on.Steve wynn is full of crap. He is campaigning to make it seem like his hotel is super safe.
same hereI know I have left my room at various hotels in Vegas with the no disturb sign up for days and never was contacted by anyone asking what was going on.
We literally do it every trip. The only time we get maid service is if we are staying for 5 nights. When we stay 4 we just put the sign up and leave it there. I also pack incredibly heavy, as does my wife. We fly southwest and bring two suitcases each. Our trips are very different though as we go to vegas with much different priorities than most. I usually hike every day and my wife will hike every other day. I bring multiple backpacks, tons of layers, different shoes, etc. One of my favorite things about vegas is you can hike in the snow one day at 11,000 feet and then be wading in the colorado river the next all the while checking scores on your phone to see how your bets are doing. But anyway, if Steve-O actually was as on top of this stuff as he says he is, I would have had at least one conversation with somebody at some point. Seeing as we carried in tons of stuff and put the do not disturb sign up at his hotel at least 4-5 times.I know I have left my room at various hotels in Vegas with the no disturb sign up for days and never was contacted by anyone asking what was going on.
I JUST did this, 4 days after the shooting, at the hotel next door. Had the DND on my door for all but about 2 hours over 4 days and no one said a word.I know I have left my room at various hotels in Vegas with the no disturb sign up for days and never was contacted by anyone asking what was going on.
While I'm sure that there may have been ways for things to have been expedited in regards to the police getting up to the 32nd floor-I'm not sure what difference it would have made. Let's say they got there 5 minutes after the security guard was shot--and it's evident that there is a dude at the end of the hall that shot a massive amount of rounds down the hallway of a populated floor of a hotel. The first thing they would try to do is to evacuate guests room by room before the potential of a shootout. That in of itself would take several minutes. Once they heard the sound of automatic fire--there's no way they just barge into his room. Heck--there are barricaded standoffs with gunmen where they are isolated in a home that go on for hours before the police can make a move. Even in Orlando--the police had the night club surrounded for a long period of time before they could make entry into the building. To me--it seems like people are just trying to find people to blame outside of the actual gunman. It's not Mandalay Bay's or the LVPD's fault that some lunatic decided to snap and turn the Las Vegas strip into a war zone. This is disturbing, feels like they don’t want to disclose how poorly it was handled. Hope I’m wrong but if a security guard is shot police need to be on the way ASAP. Just isn’t adding up.
The first guys in the room were not Swat.Let’s not forget that the swat team isn’t outside on the strip patrolling like normal police. They have to be called in, so I’m not surprised it took them a little longer to get to the 32nd floor after the call went in to dispatch and after assessing the situation. And LVPD was on the floor well before swat arrived from I understand.
Really?? LVPD blew up the door? I had that all wrong. The first guys in the room were not Swat.
nice humblebragI JUST did this, 4 days after the shooting, at the hotel next door. Had the DND on my door for all but about 2 hours over 4 days and no one said a word.
Just interested. I've asked the same question to myself.General question for jplvr
Why so invested here? Just curious. It appears as if this has 'consumed' you over the last couple weeks
sounds similar to my fascination with scientologyJust interested. I've asked the same question to myself.
There's another thread I've mentioned, which is pretty over the top with a few conspiracy nuts, trolls pulling stuff from /r/conspiracy who don't really believe it, and some really stupid people who continuously post their confusion as if they've figured out the angle. I think that thread a big part of it.
Honestly, I stop by here for some sanity.
I've been on the edge of going deep on that since Going Clear came out. I've heard Remini on Rogan that one time, but I haven't watched her show.sounds similar to my fascination with scientology
exactly.I've been on the edge of going deep on that since Going Clear came out. I've heard Remini on Rogan that one time, but I haven't watched her show.
With Paddock, if it's just him, which I believe, why are they taking so long to explain? Is it because they're trying to cut off the conspiracy nuts harping on changing, imperfect information, or is there something else underneath? It may be both, but something isn't strange about this case.
They don't contact you they just send a bellman in to see if there's a dead body.I know I have left my room at various hotels in Vegas with the no disturb sign up for days and never was contacted by anyone asking what was going on.
I'm sure his mind isn't right after dealing with the situation he was in. Unfortunately, the conspiracy people are going to eat this up. Messed up.Stephanie WashVerified account @WashNews 1h1 hour ago
Jesus Campos was set to do 5 intvs tonight per union president, but they’ve lost contact. “We were in a room & we came out & he was gone”

Media scrum tonight as we learn security officer shot in Vegas attack, Jesus Campos’ whereabouts are unknown.

What exactly is going on with this case? It doesn't seem like real life.
It's not the lack if answers that is weird, it's the lack of any concrete info whatsoever. They can't even get the timeline right.I think that I would be more concerned and/or suspicious if law enforcement claimed to have all the answers so quickly after an attack like this.
the world has moved on. lets talk about trumpNot even on the front page at CNN or Fox.
and there are cameras everywhere. something is going on.It's not the lack if answers that is weird, it's the lack of any concrete info whatsoever. They can't even get the timeline right.
What else really is there to say? It happened, we will never no why, there are no real answers.the world has moved on. lets talk about trump
Well, he does not like to be upstaged.the world has moved on. lets talk about trump
Huh?In some ways, i think when democrats make fun of the way their guy talks or says dumb things, its a badge of honor for republicans, it gives him street cred, it elevates him. If democrats showed trump respect, republicans would actually begin to view trump with suspiscion.
Please don't give Riversco street cred.Huh?In some ways, i think when democrats make fun of the way their guy talks or says dumb things, its a badge of honor for republicans, it gives him street cred, it elevates him. im sure they are already losing moneyIf Mandalay Bay releases ANYTHING that shows they were somehow negligent in this, not only will they open themselves up to a million and one lawsuits, but people are going to stop booking there en masse. It could sink the casino. If that happens, who knows what the ripple effect would be - MGM/Mirage owns damn near half the properties on the Strip. This is about the bottom line - they don't give a rat's ### if people don't know precisely what happened and on what timeline, they're trying to bail water from a sinking ship.
I can virtually guarantee it. I was just there - for a Saturday night, it looked rather empty. Not a lot of people checking in either. I also know people that go to Vegas regularly for business that always stay at MB and have told me they're not doing so anymore. I wished I hadn't been past my window to cancel at Luxor so I could have killed my reservation and re-booked at Mandalay, rooms were likely a fraction of the usual cost. The rooms there are HUGE compared to Luxor.im sure they are already losing money

So weird1. The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said.
Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.
2. Police now filtering reporters to hand select questions at the press conference.
3. Police change the timeline yet again.
