Great gameplan today again by McCarthy. Players earned this loss almost 100% for me. Criticicizing the coaching is great hindsight, but the fact is the Packer coaches did a great job today.
I wasn't a fan of some of his decisions (not going for it on 4th down, calling TO with 19 seconds left in regulation, etc). But I don't have any issues with the playcalling in the 4th quarter. The Packers had just taken a chunk of time off the clock early in the fourth with a drive largely based on their run game, which was pretty good all game.
Their next drive they ran the first 2 plays, then Rodgers threw on 3rd and 4 which was dropped by Quarless.
The drive after that (after the interception), they ran it twice for negative yards, and on 3rd and 16 elected to run again. I can see them going for it if it was 3rd and short, but up two scores late in the game, I had no problem with them taking 30 seconds off the clock.
