Up until this thread I was delightfully unaware of Mr. Harvey. I'm not exactly a Family Feud kind of guy. I still thought the show was being run by the J.R. Peterman guy from Seinfeld.
That said I am pleased his mistake resulted in the links posted in this thread. Absent the mistake I may have never bothered to view Ms. Philippines or Ms. Columbia, and that would have been sad. Turns out I would have been better off watching the pageant than the game last night. Fortunately I did switch over to the season finale of Badlands. I can't decide if that show has promise, but it has more promise than the Eagles.
As an aside I think Skinamax ought to do a soft core movie featuring Ms. Columbia and Ms. Philippines becoming very good friends as Ms. Philippines consoles Ms. Columbia about the mix up. It would not even have to be a full length feature. I think about a 90 second short film would do the trick if compellingly directed and vigorously acted.
As always, you capture the most important things that others fail to observe, but I do have one slight objection to your third stanza. Instead of Ms. Phillippinneess and Miss Colombia being very good friends, how about they start off as rivals in a seedy women's prison, run by sadistic lesbian wardens who insist on lots of steamy hot showers for their inmates. The two leads engage in some rough pillow fighting before uniting to overthrow the evil wardens and launch a daring escape during the prison's bikini car wash fund raiser. Steve Harvey can play the drunk janitor.
