Watching now on BBC AmericaFor me, the list includes:
Groundhog Day
I get sucked into Groundhogs Day every time. And My Cousin Vinny.Groundhogs Day is on right now. Perfect.
Tombstone is coming on shortly. Another good one.
And a million different action and marvel movies.
A couple obscure ones, Gunny Highway, and a well crafted drama. There are some movies which may not be very good but whenever you see them being shown on TV you have to sit and re-watch them. Just curious as to what your go-to movies are that you never pass up when you see them on.
For me, the list includes:
Notting Hill; Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Mr. Baseball, Zulu, Starship Troopers, The Big Lebowski, Groundhog Day; The Princess Bride and Spinal Tap.
Sorry if Honda but didn't see anything in a search.
I will never turn off Unforgiven. Shots fired if someone tries. The Clint Eastwood spaghetti western trilogy.
1. A Fistfull of Dollars
2. For a Few Dollars More
3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Wrong thread, this isn’t the thread for movies that make you change the channel?Prince of Tides, The Mirror Has 2 Faces, Beaches, Father of The Bride 1 & 2, Rainman, Alfred Hitchcock's work, most of Steven King... come to mind right now.
Watching it now....for the 47th time.Nobody mentioned Edge of Tomorrow?
I could watch Emily Blunt read the phonebook and I'd be

Son... I'm just going to tell you this one time. If you want to keep working here, stay off the drugs. One name I can't believe I left off and don't see mentioned (you guys caught most of my favorites) is Coming to America. Love that movie.
I agree on all those except Trainspotting. Great movie but one and done for me. It’s a little too disturbing. Many already mentioned like Lebowski & Jaws I’ll leave off

Cut down on the screen time. That ADD is rough. GF I and GF II are maybe the two best movies of all time.I know they’re all time classics, but I can’t make through Godfather I or II once, let alone multiple times. Does sleeping during the movie count?

Princess Bride
No more rhyming and I mean it!
Inconceivable to me that I forgot to add this one to my list.
Is that your blood?Did anyone mention Fight Club? Great movie. But honestly, if it's on, I'll watch it just up until the part where Norton shoots at Pitt in the parking garage. Just to hear the line:
WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Ok, you are now firing a gun at your 'imaginary friend' near 400 GALLONS OF NITROGLYCERINE!
One of my all time favorite lines based on humor and delivery.
Great soundtrack. Terrific opening and closing scenes . Terrific characters for being junkies in Edinburgh . A couple of really dark, uncomfortable scenes but nowhere as dark as Requiem for a Dream. Might be the most upbeat dark movie ever.I've never seen it, but the rest of the list is top notch.
