Same deal now for @the moops. You may select if you do not choose from the 201-225 grouping. However, if you want to take from that group OR if what tim selects in that group affects your strategy as to whether you want to take anything from that group, then you can continue to wait it out.
Time after Time. Lauper.
Its the best song left in that last block, imo. And it's a good 80's song from my childhood
Is moops on skip while he is camping over the weekend?
I was just sort of laughing to myself about this while cutting up vegetables. the moops, mixed with conditionals, seems a recipe for a non-response.Is moops on skip while he is camping over the weekend?
Ohhhh, you could be right. I didn't keep good track of the requested skips from last night. Does anyone remember for sure?
Wait wait wait wait wait...the moops said:oh yeah. no clue. need a bit here. getting ready for a weekend of mountain biking, edibles, friends, beer and booze, and camping.
THIS DRAFT DOES NOT TAKE WEEKENDS OFF.
Oh hey, look, the spreadsheets aren't working again! Only sometimes, but no longer always, does entering the pick automatically shade it Angry Red on the song list.
NO ONE "FIX" THIS EXCEPT @Northern Voice, PLEASE!
Oh, and it's not "moops," it's "the moops."
OK, we have two problem children:
1. tim, who has been on the clock for more than three hours, stopped in the thread during that time and left without making a pick.
2. THE moops, who might or might not be camping and might or might not expect to be skipped.
At 9 a.m. EDT tomorrow, we will skip them both and move along. However, I am willing to let the draft move on tonight if we get 10 drafters who check in here and vote in favor of doing so.
Please make your voice known, whichever way you feel.
Good Stan Ridgeway cover too...iirc, with Stuart Copeland#201 Johnny Cash “Ring of Fire”
Still some great songs between 201-225, but this is my favorite. It might be my favorite country song of all time. Much better than “I Walk the Line” BTW.
Go for it!I have a Friday night bonus category to keep the natives from getting restless.
I would skip the moops. He didn't care last night after we waited two plus hours for him to pick.
Johnny's wife, June, wrote that tune with Merle Kilgore.#201 Johnny Cash “Ring of Fire”

Actually it's more of a stew.Yeah, since it's only him we're talking about now, and he regularly takes a while and then doesn't care if we skip, I'm leaning toward this. Let me make my soup, and then I'll come back and likely say let's move on.
What kind of soup? I had tomato basil soup for dinner.Yeah, since it's only him we're talking about now, and he regularly takes a while and then doesn't care if we skip, I'm leaning toward this. Let me make my soup, and then I'll come back and likely say let's move on.

This was indeed one of the 7 ways I thought you might go - 3rd most likely in my estimation.#201 Johnny Cash “Ring of Fire”

Stewart wrote the music and played all the instruments except harmonica. Another example of his unique approach to drumming and rhythm that I greatly enjoy.Don't Box Me In was the song by Stan and Stew. I think the Ring of Fire cover was with Wall of Voodoo
I named my new dog Maybelline, but its a long name so she told me, You can call me maybeRound 8
102 Maybelline by Chuck Berry
Pickings are looking a bit slim in this group so I’m feeling fortunate to get one of those blueprint songs. Everything we think of as rock and roll is on display here, maybe for the first time.

chains, actually. They might even be what his avatar is breaking out of.I really relate to repsect. You relate more to fools?
Let's go ahead and move on now, but I won't be able to update the spreadsheet until I'm done. No one else touch it. Just keep that in mind when selecting. And make sure you're taking in groupings you haven't already touched, since I won't be checking that until I get back either.
It was o.k. - seems like it should have been better given the Copeland / Clarke combo. I liked it just as a Copeland drumming fix, most of the songs were meh. He's done several other "super group" attempts - like right now he's got one going with Mark King, Adrian Belew, and a couple others. Haven't had a chance to check that one out yet, but previous combos have been similarly underwhelming. What's your opinion of Animal Logic?
BUT AFTER I WATCH DRAG RACE UKI am here, what’s going on?![]()
Oh, I am just drinking a beer now. I've already seen this episode of Drag Race UK.BUT AFTER I WATCH DRAG RACE UK
That is weird, once the swab is taken you'd think they would just do the covid testYesterday when I went to the Dr for a sinus infection, the nurse gave me a Covid test, and said the Dr would be in after the test comes back. The Dr came in about 10 minutes later, and I asked her if the test was negative, and she said she cancelled it, because I've had my symptoms for three weeks, and she doesn't think I have Covid. I got that swab stick stuck up my nose for nothing. The nurse did a throat culture too, and I didn't even ask about that. I did get antibiotics for a sinus infection.![]()
- Pick a song that's not in the RS 500 by an artist who doesn't appear in the list either
