Music Draft - Rolling Stone Greatest 500 Songs Garbage List - Now with unhealthy regional pork-stuffs! (1 Viewer)

Oh, by the way, as I was out driving today I heard the following song on the "Deep Tracks" station of SiriusXM:  "Ruby Tuesday."  No, not some obscure version, but The Rolling Stones.
Mr R heard "Gold Dust Woman" on that channel.  I don't think "deep track" means what they think it means.

Round 15

242 Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis

You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, but what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire

If anyone wants to leave picks, I'm your huckleberry. I should be here until noon or so and will pass them off to Krista if not used.

15.06 With Or Without You - U2 (#211)

This is probably the deepest tier for me so I’ve been deferring it all draft long. But with 30 picks until my next one I can’t risk missing out on my favorite of the grouping.

When the Joshua Tree was released U2 was arguably my favorite band and this song and album were huge for me and my wife (then girlfriend). We both still love this song.

R.E.M. run!

15.04 Nightswimming -- R.E.M. (#160, bloc 151-175)

I was gonna take Radio Free Europe before Eephus snagged it, so I'll go with their other song from this bloc, which is down to 6 No Hesitation picks. Automatic is one of my favorite albums from the '90s.

I'll post Eephus' pick next.

For @Eephus:

15.05 You Are the Sunshine of My Life -- Stevie Wonder (#183)

@The Dreaded Marcoup.
Happy Greens.   :hot:

Sure, I'll double up on an artist. This song, for me, is way far ahead of what remains in the group.

15.07: "Beat It", Michael Jackson (185)

Gets me one of the tastiest guitar solos in rock history, as well.
