Music Draft - Rolling Stone Greatest 500 Songs Garbage List - Now with unhealthy regional pork-stuffs! (2 Viewers)

All right, I went through the spreadsheet and all the picks.  I found one instance where the poster put the wrong RS # but it was corrected by the person inputting picks, but three instances where the person inputting them got them wrong.  :lmao:   All is corrected and current, and luckily none of the errors affected the groupings, which are all correct.  THANK YOU to anyone who helped input today!  I should be around the next couple of days most all of the time since I suck.

Super super super busy morning at work, so please fill stuff in and move it along as you wish.
I don’t know why I do this, btw.  Certainly others who have “run” drafts don’t.  I’m just learning. 😊

It looks like this one was just sitting there waiting for me.  One of my all-time favorite tunes.

Round 8 - Ripple - Grateful Dead  (#334)

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music?
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air  🎵 🎵🎵🎵

#416 Alive.  Pearl Jam

Take me back to High School!   Great song on a great album....hopefully it hasn't been taken!  I just woke up and gotta go to work!

Thank you to whoever filled this in as I would have had no idea.
That was me.

Whoops. This was also me.

That's a bloody miracle, since I used the sheet for the groupings.

Don't. talk. about. the. sausage. It. got. made.

Somebody else was filling in the song list bloody red, though. That made for an amusing time.

I was unaware karaoke was such a big part of people's lives. I saw it once at an airport bar in Windsor Locks, CT, noted that the people were really trying (some guy was doing "Stairway" in all its glory one Friday night) and thought it seemed less than festive at the time. Apparently in most areas, at most times, it's a hoot!

It should be noted that lots of parts of CT are known for their existential sadness, so maybe that's why my stories about being out drinking tend to veer that way.

It's sparse.

And cold.

And leafy at times.

*whoosh* There went the barren landscape, interrupted by the November rain...

Great tune with my morning coffee and get the juices flowing.
Picking the only PJ song on here was kind of a no brainer for me at this point but it got me thinking about an obvious omission on the list.......how the hell did Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog not make it?

:thanks:

That was a lot of work.  Thanks for taking the reins.

I had a buddy that started downloading karaoke songs about 15 years ago. His collection is now over 10,000 songs. He has shared this list with 3 other couples and it is inevitable that whenever any of those couples get together, the karaoke comes out and we start belting out tunes.

We had a little gathering at our cottage and decided to set up in the backyard last year.  Around 11:30 the RCMP come rolling up saying they got a noise complaint and asked us to turn it down.

I guess the neighbors didn’t like my version of Eat the Rich by Krokus

This seems pretty easy to un-FUBAR, but I'm reluctant to do it sans permission.

EDIT:  I did NOT FUBAR in the first place, but I was the guy who prematurely turned Waterloo Sunset red on day one.

The video for this song seems problematic in the Me Too era.
I listen to a lot of comedy on my satellite radio while in the car. I so wish they would put the year of the comedy routine in the title so I know whether I can laugh at the jokes or whether I should cringe that someone is still running with those sorts of jokes
