Ramsay Hunt Experience said:I'll be leaving to pick up my youngest in about 20 minutes. He will probably insist on a trip to the coffee shop after school and I am not good at enforcing boundaries, so I'll probably be out of pocket from 2:50 to 3:40 or so. I can send a pick/and some backups to Krista.
You're back around now, correct?
For now, I'll be going back out to pick up the older kid around 5:30. I'd be back from that a few minutes after 6, assuming I pick up pizza.
Cacio e Pepe one day and pizza the next?? I am available for adoption.
I don't remember if it was this article or a different one, but they quoted someone who enrolled that had just finished law school but decided she didn't want to be a lawyer. She would rather do this with her life.WHOA. Guess I know what I'll be doing next year.
so clearly OH stopped cooking for you then huh?
pretty sure RHE said it was buttered noodles/green can shake cheese and Little Caesars
doesn't take long for the palette to change.

Well, he's working 11ish to 8ish five days a week, so only cooking 1-2 days. :(
Is there a category for "I wrote off the Strokes as soon as I heard them because Last Nite sounds like a carbon copy of Lust for Life?"I know no one cares about Pitchfork anymore - at least until we draft their 500 songs next![]()
But it was interesting to see them concede today something I've said many many times in these threads before - that Room on Fire is indeed the superior album by The Strokes and not Is This It?
It was this one!
Also, the first session was almost entirely on Penny Lane.![]()

did they address:
1) just what kind of photographs of "heads" was that barber showing that he had some sort of "pleasure" knowing?
2) what's going on with that fireman liking to keep his "fire engine" clean? And it was immediately re-emphasized as a "clean machine" Was this about a real person?
You musta been in the wrong place, in the right timeRamsay Hunt Experience said:For a second, I thought I had missed a Dr. John song on the list and was pissed.
"FIsh mongo just pawn in the game of life."Them fish ain't gonna mong themselves

One of my life preserver songs at this point. And its really good, too#140 No Woman No Cry. Marley
No brainer with what was left......the frat boy anthem, right? Anyway, I'm actually listening to Marley right now....my wife had Marley playing during child birth with both our kids....the most relaxing protest music ever!
Yeah I went to see my momma and missed a couple hours. Pik's take was better anyway. We've already riffed on this, but let me put on my Pitchfork hat and say that Such A Night is the superior single.
Never heard that one before. It very clearly sounds like "American Girl" though. Is there a category for "I wrote off the Strokes as soon as I heard them because Last Nite sounds like a carbon copy of Lust for Life?"

Bummer, hope everything turns out well!I have to be gone for a couple of hours. Medical semi-emergency that caused me to cancel my meet-and-greet with those sweet kitties, too. I'm hoping someone can keep this moving, post the picks, etc. while I'm gone. Will let you know when I'm back. Thanks!

The Marvelettes “Please Mr. Postman”
OK this is still a song I like.

Not found on draft sheet so it was availableIt’s not marked red on the song list

Sorry, still out. Pretty sure I need this block and it's not taken.
Deacon Blues was high on my list for this group before I went a different direction with my pick13.22 Eagles - Hotel California (#311)
14.04 Steely Dan - Deacon Blues (#214)
A couple of classics still on the board, so I’ll jump all over them.
Every time anyone tries to karaoke Hotel California it has been a train wreck, so I advise against it.
