NBA BTTF VI Draft - DONE! Regular Season OVAH. Commence trade talk and six month wait for WIS rosters (1 Viewer)

Was going back and forth, but both positionally (fear those part time but good C/PF options may start falling) and upside wise, and someone who will bring me some nice, super efficient scoring from the front court to boot:

6.18 - Skal Labissiere, C/PF SAC

@bananafish

HAPPY FOOTBALL SUNDAY!

Dare I say, but it almost feels like fall on this crisp morning in Dallas.  Lets have some good momentum like yesterday, get through the turn and maybe mid way or more through the next round. Season is around the corner, so get that short list on your portable innernets device and get picking.

OTC - @bananafish

DECK - @Charlie Harper

HOLE - @the moops (think i have cell)

Awake since last night in case pick came up: @The Gator (have cell)

It's going to approach 80 here in Denver this afternoon then we won't even hit 40 tomorrow and we are expecting snow. I love fall.

Damn, that sounds like an awful place to be right now.

And the humidity sounds pretty crappy, too.
I had a Latin American literature professor who liked to tell me a well-worn joke.  Apparently there was this radio station that was running a contest.  First prize was a one week vacation in Philadelphia.  Second prize was a two-week vacation in Philadelphia.

Let's just say he doesn't tell me any jokes anymore.

6.20 SG/SF Jeremy Lamb CHA

He has the pedigree and he's been productive in his minutes. Now he gets the opportunity. UPSIDE!

PG Conley

SG Seth Curry

SF Evan Fournier

PF Clint Capella

C Rudy Gobert

SG/SF Jeremy Lamb

@the moops next

Now I like your team a lot. Put Lamb in for Curry.
Woooooo!!

Yah, we'll see who has the better season. I do suspect Lamb should have better all around numbers with increased minutes, even for a month or two. Hopefully, he parlays the playtime into a big role even when Batum comes back.

Well, I think it's fair to say we expected a bit more flow, but with a 30 min clock and hopefully some lists, we should be ok. If needed well go 3ITC including over next weekend if needed. That said, if we average two rounds a day, we should be close to done by week's end. With barely a week until the season, we will have to keep on track, though.

***REMINDER***

30 MIN CLOCK BEGINS TOMORROW AT 9AM EDT (7am local on west coast - if you arent listed on OP tell me, or you may get skipped)

Clock runs until 10:00 pm eastern

7.5 SG Dwayne Wade CLE

He's the most productive wing left based on last year's stats. This year he'll be with Lebron and he'll actually be motivated to play on a good team so any drop in volume I feel will be neutralized by an efficiency gain. As long as he keeps his steals and blocks the same, Wade will continue to rate well in the SIM, and as a 4th wing I won't be counting on his minutes though I think he'll average around 28 mpg.

PG Mike Conley

SG Seth Curry

SF Evan Fournier

PF Clint Capella

C Rudy Gobert

BENCH

SG/SF Jeremy Lamb

SG Dwayne Wade

@bananafish you're up.

@bananafish OTC - Until 7:30am west coast (10:30 est)

me on tap - if banana, who's west coast, picks tonight, ill time out at 9:30 edt (8:30 central where I am)

@hagmania on tap

Ill be available and generally around for lists and maintenance M-TU, travelling and conferences from Wed on, so Rod and Sammy will hopefully be available if needed.

I was going to take Wade here. Surprised he dropped given the name value. There's injury and decline risk but at this point he'd have to fall pretty far to not be a good pick.

7.7 - Will Barton, SG NUGS

Was debating him two rounds ago when I went point again, so I may be missing something but he seems to have a better trajectory than some old dudes already taken; should get 25-30 min even if off the bench (and perhaps that's preferable on a production per min basis).  A legit two guard who can approach 20/6/4 per 36 on decent shooting and getting to the line a little.

Depending on how the draft and season/health shake out TJ Warren's true swing status as SF or G lets me build more in the backcourt.

Any guess as to how many hours koya spends researching each pick? he knows next to nothing about basketball yet writes a 2 paragraph scouting report and does some sneaky humble bragging about how awesome the pick is

ps - we love you koya
