***Official 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread : Pens raise the cup for 4th time in franchise history*** (1 Viewer)

Rangers owned that period and down 1-0. Pretty much business as usual
Right through Staal's legs of course. But the bigger problem was Girardi just ####### coasted through the zone allowing that Pen to skate right past him and get to the puck in the corner. 20 seconds left and he was already checked out.

Thought they played well through about 12ish minutes. Going on the PP seemed to turn it.

Power and Light District was a pretty cool spot with a lot of bars when I was there last June. Not sure how busy it would be on a Wednesday this time of year.
I was down there with 40 cops last  night swapping strange crime scene stories. I'll try and post the best one later, it's strange and awesome.

Hank out.

MSG showed why Girardi was loafing. That entry pass on the goal was from the other side of the red line but was waived off for some reason. He objected as to why.

HEY ########, SKATE ANYWAY!

Girardi actuall stopped a back door tap in on a 2 on 1 down low.  I wouldn't put that goal on him either.  I don't want to defend him too much though because there's 40 min left

He stopped skating and allowed a guy to get past him to set up a goal. He makes nearly $6MM a year. It's inexcusable no matter how many plays he makes elsewhere in the game.

Does it seem like there are more blown offsides calls than ever before, or have we just never really paid attention or noticed it before video replay?

what if they still had Callahan giving lots of hustle for 30 points at $6 mil a year?
