Game 6 of the WCF will be the deepest they've been in the playoffs since 85-86, when Doug Wickenheiser capped off a torrid game 6 comeback to send the series with the Calgary Flames to Game 7 (where they lost, shocker).Announcer said earlier they today's date is the latest the blues have ever played into the season. That's unbelievable.
Malkin says back up the truck.Don't know how you bet that.
Does he have a point in the series?Malkin says back up the truck.
"I believe in my team, I believe in myself," Malkin said unsolicited. "We're coming back to Pittsburgh for sure."
If you've been on the Lightning this series you are cleaning up. They were a laughable +450 after game 3.Don't know how you bet that.
Tarasenko is clearly hurt. He took a cheap shot to the ribs the other night and was in major pain after that. Wouldn't be surprised if it eventually comes out that he has a cracked rib or two. And yeah, I know, everyone is playing through some kind of injury right now, but bad ribs takes all of the power away from a sniper like Tarasenko. He wasn't great, but at least he wasn't a ghost like Tarasenko.
3 points in the last 3 games.Does he have a point in the series?
DeBoer's/Pavelski's Sharks vs. Thornton's Sharks...something has to give.Doctor Detroit said:When Pavelski is red hot like he is now he reminds me of Brett Hull, especially on the PP. Blues fans probably thinking the worst but I'm not sure there has been a more choking franchise in the past 10+ years like the Sharks. This year no expectations, and they are a game from the SCF. This is where they have pressure and become Joe Thornton's Sharks.
Teams don't come back from losses like that. They're in Letang's kitchen and now who knows about the mental state of Matt Murray who absolutely must start on goal. I'd say you're backing up the truck to the wrong spot. TB is a lock tonight.Aaron Rudnicki said:Malkin says back up the truck.

Malkin played fine in game 5. Letang on the other hand.......Aaron Rudnicki said:Malkin says back up the truck.

I think/hope this is some type of bizarre shtick.Teams don't come back from losses like that. They're in Letang's kitchen and now who knows about the mental state of Matt Murray who absolutely must start on goal. I'd say you're backing up the truck to the wrong spot. TB is a lock tonight.
It's been a long trying emotional beatdown for years but we haven't lost yet.Capella said:Announcer said earlier they today's date is the latest the blues have ever played into the season. That's unbelievable.
The Blues weren't even that good that year. They were around .500 on the season and won the first two rounds without home ice advantage.Brady Marino said:Game 6 of the WCF will be the deepest they've been in the playoffs since 85-86, when Doug Wickenheiser capped off a torrid game 6 comeback to send the series with the Calgary Flames to Game 7 (where they lost, shocker).
I was 11 months old when that series happened.![]()
Out of curiosity, have you put any money on it? I also don't get it but sometimes the lines tell you something.Sharks +135 to win cup
Bolts +250
I know I keep harping on this, and have been for weeks now, but I seriously don't get it.
No I don't really gamble much but yea I love to follow lines for that very reason. Look at them almost daily. Especially in series formats.Out of curiosity, have you put any money on it? I also don't get it but sometimes the lines tell you something.
I bet the Bolts to win the cup in March. +1200 and then +1600.Out of curiosity, have you put any money on it? I also don't get it but sometimes the lines tell you something.
Small market team that no one bets on so they need to attract people to bet them. It has nothing really to do with if they can actually win or not.Sharks +135 to win cup
Bolts +250

lol what a mess this has become. He should have just left Murray in for game 5. With the exception of a couple soft goals, Murray has been playing fine all playoffs. I know I said earlier that Murray should have a short leash but I don't think he did anything in game 4 that warranted benching. But then again hindsight is 20/20.Murray named starting goaltender tonight for the Pens..
Are you hedging?I got Tampa to win the East for +845 on March 20th.
I get that, but San Jose and Pittsburgh aren't exactly NYC either. And the bolts won the east last yearSmall market team that no one bets on so they need to attract people to bet them. It has nothing really to do with if they can actually win or not.
Even in the years of the Sharks choking, Pavelski always played well in the postseason. They feel much less reliant on Thornton and Marleau producing.Doctor Detroit said:When Pavelski is red hot like he is now he reminds me of Brett Hull, especially on the PP. I got them to win the cup at +1500 around the same timeI got Tampa to win the East for +845 on March 20th.
That was BS that they missed the Penalty on the Bolts but Malkin's has to be smarterBaby Huey rage!!
Blah blah blahMalkin is a effing idiot, doesn't take wide open shot then retaliates. By the way another cheap shot by a hole Callahan. That guy is garbage
