Bruh. What, on Earth, makes people think that other people care to hear about the contents of their entire (underscored) roster? Given that it's the first few weeks of the season, I get that there are some who are still a little giddy. However, there remains 9K+ contestants. After your team makes it into the final two-fifty, said folks just might slightly give a damn.

Awards and notable teams of the week.

Strongest Living Team: Through week 3, 1568 teams are averaging at least 200 points per week. Only four of those teams have been eliminated. The strongest entry so far is NoBetterThnSolid (Entry 101729), averaging 240.42 points.

Strongest Dead Team: Entry 111618 is averaging 205.55 points, sitting at 843rd overall. Alas, this team died in week 2.

Keep Your Day Job Award:  Entry 111816 is still the only team averaging under 100, sitting at 82.27. The worst non-gimmick team looks to be Parrot Head (Entry 110903), averaging 108.2 points per week. This team had seven players who were inactive this week.

Safest Team: Carf1 (Entry 111054) has cleared the cutoff by at least 81 points each of the last two weeks.

Just Skating By Award: Entry 111974 hasn’t named their team yet: may I recommend “The Cardiac Kids?” This team cleared the cutoff by 0.2 points in week 2, and came in at 154.3, the exact cutoff score, in week 3. Good luck!

Icarus Award: Through 2 weeks, Entry 106168 was sitting in 20th place overall (by average points). But they collapsed to 137.75 this week, missing the cutoff by a healthy margin. They had plenty of active players, but the big scores from Ekeler and Mark Andrews went away and weren’t replaced.

Notable Teams:

QBs: All fourteen teams with 10 or more QBs are now eliminated with the exception Entry 107204, who held on with 11 QBs.

RBs: Both 12-RB teams, Sugarbears (Entry 100544) and Double Great (Entry 104347), are still with us.

WRs: Entry 112604, the 15-WR team, was eliminated this week. The two 13-WR teams (Entry 111032 and BZ (Entry 103484) have survived.

TEs: The three 7-TE teams—Road Rage (Entry 104111), Entry 102377 and Entry 110983--all survived.

PKs: The 20-K and 18-K teams were eliminated week 2. The 9-K team, Entry 111271, is still around.

DEFs: Two of the three 7-DEF teams have been eliminated, leaving only Lucious Clay (Entry 112195).

And me, you ask? I’m alive and doing great: among the 9,000 living teams, I’m in 136th overall, and came in 145th this week.

More to come later...

I bet you’re a blast at parties. Many of us have spent the summer discussing  our roosters and there’s a thread to talk about it. Weird flex though.

And now the players:

Eliminated Players: Well, it’s only week 3, but two players have already been eliminated (they are rostered on no living teams). Happy trails, Andrew Luck (rostered on 5 teams) and Jeff Driskel (3).

The Biggest Mistake: The overall player survival rate is 71.6%. The player with the worst survival rate who has actually been active through the season is Trey Burton, at 44.9%. Other notable players with below-50% survival rates are Aaron Rodgers, Tarik Cohen and Eric Ebron.

The Survivor: 90.9% of the 3133 teams that rostered Darren Waller are still alive. No other player has a 90% survival rate.

The Bargain: Waller only cost you $8. Demarcus Robinson, Terry McLaurin and Matt Gay all went under $5 and have survival rates over 85%.

The Parasite:  Ryan Griffin and Josh Reynolds have (I believe) been active every week and given their owners bupkis. It’s understandable in the case of Griffin, at least. Somehow, both players have survival rates above the average for the contest, 75.0% and 72.9% respectively. No other player can say the same.

The Martyr: Matt Ryan has scored over 30 points in each of the elimination weeks, and yet his survival rate is only 68.8%. He’s doing all he can, people! This list (players with high weekly scores but low survival rates) is dominated by QBs, with the exception of Michael Thomas: never less than 16.4, survival rate of 66.2%

How much cap does everyone have on BYE or possibly out this week?

$25 (Kittle) BYE

$9 (Beida) BYE

$9 (Andrews, possibly out)

$8 (Singletary, possibly out)

$3 (Jets) BYE

=  $37 to $54 ish

5 of 20 players  -YIKES
Breida, Hunter Henry, maybe Andrews, Jets D.

I'll have to hope hock steps up like he did week 1 but not since

This is great keep up fun facts !

Breida ($9), Herndon ($8), Darnold ($8 - out anyway) and likely Singletary due to injury ($8)

With my running back situation, it sure would be nice if Singletary was healthy.

So I've got $33 out of $250 out, which is significant.

This is where it hurts owning Kittle and having an injury mess.

I have all of the top 5 here.  Also will be without Foles and Herndon.  I will only have 1 QB, 4 RBs (one of whom is Justice Hill), 3 WRs, 2 TEs, 3 K’s and 2 D’s to score for me this week so I have absolutely no margin for error.

Welcome to week 4.  Cutting down to 7500.  Kicking it off with a PHI/GB Thursday night game:

QB - Wentz (640 - 27.30) & Rodgers (102 - 36.70)

RB - Sanders (1096 - 7.20), Jones (349 - 14.80), Howard (114 - 31.00), J Williams (71 - 0.50), Sproles (65 - 0.40), D Williams (32 - 0.00), Clement (27 - 0.00)

WR - Valdes-Scantling (2671 - 7.70), Jackson (564 - 0.00), Allison (496 - 14.90), Adams (325 - 28.00), Arcega-Whiteside (310 - 0.00), Agholor (210 - 0.00), Jeffery (161 - 12.80), St.Brown (57 - 0.00)

TE - Ertz (360 - 17.00), Graham (348 - 21.10), Goedert (237- 10.60)

K - Crosby (499 - 9.10), Elliott (340 - 4.00)

D - PHI (834 - 5.00), GB (264 - 0.00)
Cutline still at zero, as only 5700 entries scored points.

QB - Decent week for Wentz, good score for Rodgers, but cutline won't move much because Rodgers is rare

RB - Howard with a monster game, but quite rare, Sanders quite common with a subpar game

WR - Davante did his damage in the first half, Jeffery the only PHI WR to score points

TE - Nice scoring by all 3 TE's, but none all that common

K & D - Nothing to write home about

We interrupt this broadcast for a special news bulletin...

@Hot Sauce Guy is offering free hot sauce in the kicker thread.  Figured I would reach a lot of people in this thread.

Now, back to your show.

Inactive for the 1pm games:

QB - Cam Newton

RB - Saquon Barkley, Damien Williams, Justin Jackson, Devin Singletary

WR - Tyreek Hill, T.Y. Hilton, Mike Williams, Albert Wilson, Robert Foster, Danny Amendola, Terry McLaurin, Travis Benjamin

TE - Hunter Henry, Jordan Reed, Tyler Kroft

K - Mike Badgley

Well barely had enough players to fill out all the positions but thanks largely to Chubb I’m comfortably through to next week

Looks like I am toast. Don't even have enough players to field an entire lineup (will take a zero at one flex spot).  Currently 26 points below cutline @4:45

These guys are hurt or on a bye:

S. Barkley
J. Crowder
A. Wilson
T. Gabriel
T. McLaurin
NYJ

Will get 100% of these guys stats:

E. Elliott
A. Kamara
T. Lockett
D. Westbrook
Steelers

And this:

M. Gay / Z. Gonzalez - 5.6

:kicksrock:

After 1pm games:

139.95 + (Conner/Carson - 7.6/8.8/11.4/11.8) + (Boyd/Reynolds - 7.6/9.8/11.4/24.4) + (Seahawks/Bengals - 0.0)

Cautiously optimistic given the Seahawks already have 10 points

:scared:

You’re not necessarily toast, right? Westbrook and Lockett weren’t great, but they netted you something. 100% of Zeke and Kamara is potentially a LOT of points.

My TEs are carrying me right now. I’m most likely done @ 174 so I should be OK. Injuries and byes were tough this week. Add in some crummy performances and I’m lucky my 3 TEs all performed again.

I have Winston and Godwin and the NEP defense. Holy crikey, I cracked the top 150 as of now. Not sure if I have anyone of significance left. My RBs are gonna be a huge problem, though.

After 4pm  160.85 + (Conner - 8.80/11.80) + (Boyd - 8.80/9.80) + (Bengals -12.00)

25 ahead of the cut.  Should be good.
