Averaging 27.44 and used 3 times each.  At this point, I am just hoping they keep their jobs and remain healthy.  Goff should have a bounce back game vs ATL, while Winston takes a week off to think about what he's done.

RB - Ezekiel Elliott (259), David Johnson (111), Matt Breida (2039), Duke Johnson (2454), Devin Singletary (2152)

My 2 top dogs haven't been lighting it up, but they've been pretty consistent.  Both are averaging 17 per game.  Used Breida in both his double digit games, and he is still upright.  Despite Duke and Devin each putting up 2 double digit games, I have yet to use them.  Have made it through 2 byes (Breida/Singletary), with Zeke next to sit in week 8.  Hoping DJ's back loosens up, and Devin returns to the field this week.  Only 1 flex score so far from this group, but that is due to good scoring from my WR/TE, so I can't complain.

Most of my flex appeal has come from this group, with 8 out of 12.  Godwin, Jones, and Lockett all in the top 10 (WR1, WR7, WR9), and Fitz sits at WR17.  Godwin is my first bye WR this week.  Other than hoping Gordon doesn't miss time, or cringing on every kick or punt return by Lockett, I am quite happy with this group.

TE - Evan Engram (739), Mark Andrews (2120)

Made it through Engram's first "bye".  This duo has been awesome thus far, giving me 3 flexes.  Engram looks on track to play this week, then Andrews will get a much needed rest in week 8.  Stay healthy, my friends.

K - Austin Seibert (742), Matt Gay (508), Daniel Carlson (409)

Three cheap kickers who have averaged 11.07 weekly.  Gay has done the heavy lifting, but have used Carlson & Seibert once each.  Made it through Carlson's bye, and now Gay & Seibert are off.  Just hoping they all keep their jobs.

D - NYG (80), NYJ (974)

I liked how their schedules meshed, and have been pleasantly surprised.  Averaging 12 per game, and the Jets have already had their bye.  I've used them 3 times each.

Awards and notable teams of the week.

Strongest Living Team: There are still 234 teams averaging over 200 points per week. Entry 109548 remains in 1st, at 224.8, and extended their lead over Entry 107906 (still in 2nd) from 0.1 points last week to 3 points now.

Strongest Dead Team: Entry 110823, dead since week 3, had a huge week 6 (265.35, 1st overall) and is now in 39th overall, averaging 207.23 points per week.

Keep Your Day Job Award:  We have quite a battle for worst (non-gimmick) team. Entry 107390 is the worst, averaging 110.21, but Entry 105433 is nipping at their heels at 110.48. For the record, the worst team overall is Entry 111816, a 15-QB team that is averaging 81.92 and has never even scored 95 points, which is amazing since the 2nd-worst team in the contest is averaging 99.5.

Safest Team: Entry 103256 remains the safest team by a big margin. This team has cleared the cutoff by at least 63.3 points every week. The next-safest team is at 48.1. Not surprisingly, Entry 103256 is also the only team in the contest to score over 200 every week, and is in 5th place overall by average score.

Just Skating By Award: We’ve cleared the 10 point barrier this week (no living team has failed to clear the cutoff by 10 points at least once). No matter how you look at it, Entry 106953 is the team living closest to the edge. This team has cleared the cutoff by 11, 8.2, 0.9, 4.9 and 4.8 points.

Steady Eddie Award: Here’s what I wrote last week: “Entry 111553 is kind of amazing. Here are their scores: 152.95, 153.85, 153.25, 155.50, 154.50. That’s a standard deviation of 1.02, easily the lowest in the contest.” Well, this week, they scored 157.85, which is a bit of an outlier but still keeps their standard deviation at a ridiculously low 1.82. The most consistent living team is still MANLYMAN (Entry 108710), who actually reduced their standard deviation to 2.82 and moved into second overall in this category. Their scores: 182.45, 183.6, 178.5, 186.5, 185.3 and 181.8.

Icarus Award: Through 5 weeks, Entry 104272 was sitting in 36th place overall (by average points). This week, they scored 138.9 and missed the cutoff by 3.4 points. Ouch. This despite great weeks from Lamar Jackson, Chris Carson, and Chris Godwin. Getting nothing from the TE position (Engram and Dissly) certainly didn’t help.

Would Coulda Shoulda Award: Entry 106651 was eliminated in week 2. Since then, that team has averaged over 202 points per week, good for 105th overall over weeks 3-6. They also topped 200 week 1, when nobody was eliminated. Bummer.

Notable Teams:

QBs:  Entry 107204 is pretty amazing, still surviving with 11 QBs on their roster. Of the 41 teams with 7 or more QBs, only one other is still alive: Entry 104911, with exactly 7.

RBs: Sugarbears (Entry 100544), the last surviving 12-RB team, is still with us.

WRs: No change this week: five 12-WR teams remain.

TEs: The last 7-TE team died this week. Of five 6-TE teams, two are still alive: MrScamper (Entry 101440) and Drunk with Power (Entry 104883).

PKs: Of 21 teams with 7 or more kickers, only Entry 112043 remains (with exactly 7).

DEFs: Lots of 6-DEF teams still around.

And me, you ask? I’m alive and doing great: I’m in 215th overall.

Eliminated Players: D’Onta Foreman, we hardly knew ye. All ten of your owners have been eliminated. Four players are entirely out now. The appropriately named Alfred Blue is looking pretty sad right now: only one of his 26 owners is alive.

The Biggest Mistake: Saquon Barkley owners have been taking a beating during his injury. Only 11.7% of his original rosterers are still with us (the overall survival rate is 39.8%). Of players rostered on over 1000 teams, Alvin Kamara has the lowest survival rate, at 28.1%. And he’s scored points for you every week.

The Survivor: Chris Godwin is rostered on 1857 teams, 63.8% of which are still alive, in large part thanks to him.

The Bargain: It’s hard to call the Patriots defense a bargain, since they were one of the more expensive Ds at $6. But their 56.4% survival rate makes them worth a mention. In the non-D-or-K category, Darren Waller only cost $8 and has a survival rate of 55% despite this week’s bye. Terry McLaurin came as cheap as possible ($4) and over half his teams (50.9%) are still alive.

The Parasite:  Two of Zach Zenner’s four owners are still alive, for a 50% survival rate: no other non-scoring player has a rate that high. Chris Herndon’s 449 surviving owners (42.5%) are still hoping for his contributions. Darwin Thompson has done the least he can do for his owners, with weeks of 0.8, 0.1 and 0.8 to go with his three zeros, and yet 42.1% of them are still alive and kicking.

The Martyr: No changes this week. The Aaron Rodgers thing is getting ridiculous. He’s still averaging over 20 points per week, and yet only 20.5% of his owners are still alive. In the non-QB category, DeAndre Hopkins is averaging over 15 per week and yet only 22.2% of his owners are still alive.

So depressing to be eliminated so quickly. Most years I’m a big “meh” on the whole thing b/c of the randomness of it all, even the years I’ve made the final 250. But I REALLY liked my team this year. You would think a 26 man roster would have some injury security, but that wasn’t the case.

Yep.  That was it for Elliott (kickers used to get points for passing but no more).

The Rams defense was awarded two fumble recoveries in the data feed I am using on that crazy play were they recovered a fumble, then lateraled the ball, then it was reviewed.  Anyway, this is fixed too.

My scores the last 3 weeks 155.35 156.30 155.65. Steady but not spectacular. 

And as mentioned, of all players rostered on over 1000 teams, Alvin Kamara has the lowest survival rate, at 28.1%. I'm one of those teams. And this week he gets the Bears on the road after a bye week on a bum wheel. Here's to a big game against all odds. At least he'll get more points than CMac this week, if he plays.

Just wanted to point out - We have a very similar roster. (Lamar, Johnson, Breida, Singletary, Kittle, Andrews, Jets, Bengals, Siebert)  I hope you keep advancing. Very similar make up.
