The ratio is hilarious. 6 batters, 4 K's with 2 dingers. I will be fine if every Tiger he doesn't strike out goes yard.

Cruz just tied The Babe for most career postseason HRs (15).

SHAME on Babe for not hitting more homers in the play-in game, the divisional series or the ALCS!

Man, the ball is really flying tonight. 3 Homers and about 3 or 4 deep outs. Feel like this game is going to finish with about 6-7 home runs.

Man, my boss is the suck! Just got home and turned on the tv. Gotta feel good about Markakis hitting this well so early in the game. You know he was chomping at the bit to play in this game after missing in 2012. Hopefully Tillman is settled in now.

O's in 4. Our starters match up well with the Tigers and our bullpen is deep and strong. The O's have made a habit of waiting the other teams ace out and getting to the bullpen so if the O's are within striking distance in 7th/8th I like their chances.

I love me some Adam Jones but boy is it annoying when he swings at the low change up for a strike out. arrgh

Tillman is pitching his butt off but the Tigers are really making him work for everything. Anyone got a foul ball tracker? I'll bet Detroit has hit 50 of 'em to extend their at bats.

Kinsler is really making Tillman work since his first inning strikeout.

Good walk, Rajai needs to cash in now.

Tillman comes through again. Time for the parade- Hunter, Miller, O'Day, Britton. Of course, iffin the the O's score four or five here perhaps Hunter stays out there for a few, or maybe...we get a Ubaldo sighting.

No Ubaldo when the O's have a lead this series

I'm sure you're right. I'm just hangin' on hope the O's score a bunch runs here and make the relief corp not as important to the outcome.

Well Tigers defense didn't look so terrible on that play. Nice run down by Nick and pick by Miggy.

There goes the idea of waiting Scherzer out. Only 68 pitches through 5. We have to get to him next inning.

Orioles have been playing 6-inning games since getting Miller. Tonight will have to be 5 innings. Wonder if they bring him back out for another. I would

Pearce styling a little too much out of the batter's box. That's not Orioles baseball. Won't do that again

That hurts. That really hurts.

Need another set of back to backs from the Martinez Bros.

Having Britton go more than 1 inning.Feel like Buck is chasing it a little. Hope he's not choking. Would have hadHHunter ready here and saved Britton for the 9th

Words can not express how much I hate the hit and run. Dumbest play in baseball. Doubled off what could've been the tying run.

Sure, it results in a lot of double plays and puts enormous pressure on both the batter and runner... but when it works, you get one extra base!

To be fair, it's more than that. It pulls a fielder out of position (having to cover the bag), thus opening a hole in the infield for a good contact hitter.

In theory.

I thought Hunter should've pitched the sixth which would have put the rest in order for an inning each. This isn't game 7 of the World Series.

Alejandro DeAza! And that's it for Mad MAx, Finally! We waited him out. Be nice to get this run in...
