This is the part that really :shuked: me...Pompeo was the CIA director...you would think that would actually mean something, but I guess not when your in the tank for Russia.Along with our POTUS who is enlisting foreign governments to undermine the findings of our intelligence community, while also attempting to have investigations opened into their political opposition.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is America in 2019.
Don’t get hystericalLucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Obviously.

Cover 3?Might see a line to the whistleblower bar. Because the coverup occurred.
Be way more cool if you come back.Like I said, I just don’t care about being nice anymore. No disrespect to women, but the behavior is indicative of high levels of estrogen. I’m just saying.
It’s a really weird play to argue with Henry on this.Trying to turn choices into such black and white divide is dishonest.
So you are ok with the Democrats meeting with Iran and asking them to interfere with the election against Trump?Unless it was truly tied to foreign aid, I have very little issue with it. It was something that went on in a foreign country. If there was wrong-doing, it should be exposed. Trump is grasping and is probably delusional, but what is new.
Are you suggesting it would be surprising if Trump didn’t do the purely logical thing? If at any point Trump believes (1) that he will lose the 2020 election; and (2) that there is a chance that he will be indicted for one or more federal crimes once he is no longer in office, doesn’t he conclude that he is best served by resigning or being impeached? That way, Pence can pardon him. Otherwise, he would have to depend on a pardon from a Democratic administration.
I wouldn’t be surprised, but I also suspect that there is some degree of self-preservation instinct that will come to the fore. Are you suggesting it would be surprising if Trump didn’t do the purely logical thing?
Honestly though - I don't think Trump has it in him to accept that he might be wrong/in trouble.I wouldn’t be surprised, but I also suspect that there is some degree of self-preservation instinct that will come to the fore.
I am OK with Dems getting Dirt on Trump from Iran.So you are ok with the Democrats meeting with Iran and asking them to interfere with the election against Trump?
you ok with Biden doing it. The Iranians know that if Biden gets elected there is a better chance that the old deal is back in play.
You ok with Iran getting as much dirt as possible and sending it to Dem HQ to use against Trump?
He’ll never acknowledge that he was wrong. But there is a chance he might resign if he can claim he was forced out by the Deep State, did it for the sake of the country, etc.Honestly though - I don't think Trump has it in him to accept that he might be wrong/in trouble.
I think he will continue to rant and rave for as long as it takes, rather than take a step that acknowledges he was wrong. For Trump, self-preservation means never having to admit you were wrong.
That reeks of hypocrisy, just so you know. I don't care about either party, but somebody has to have some standards in this mess.I am OK with Dems getting Dirt on Trump from Iran.
He won’t admit he’s wrong, he will be impeached, he won’t be removed, he’ll need to lose the election to be removed, and even that’s no sure thing as evidenced by the pro-Trump non-wavering for their dear leader.
Let me be clear: Trump ONLY does things for Trump. He does not do things for the good of the country. He will not acknowledge doing anything that requires resignation and will pummel any GOP member who dares think differentlyHe’ll never acknowledge that he was wrong. But there is a chance he might resign if he can claim he was forced out by the Deep State, did it for the sake of the country, etc.
Probably not. But in exchange for a pardon? (If he thought he actually has a chance to go to jail.)Let me be clear: Trump ONLY does things for Trump. He does not do things for the good of the country. He will not acknowledge doing anything that requires resignation and will pummel any GOP member who dares think differently
He has a history of going for broke.Probably not. But in exchange for a pardon? (If he thought he actually has a chance to go to jail.)
He did declare bankruptcy for his casino businesses because he knew he was screwed and this was the only way he could get out from under his creditors and preserve his other assets.Honestly though - I don't think Trump has it in him to accept that he might be wrong/in trouble.
I think he will continue to rant and rave for as long as it takes, rather than take a step that acknowledges he was wrong. For Trump, self-preservation means never having to admit you were wrong.
I think that is the position Pete would take. That is probably the position Biden would take. I don't think the other candidates would be as willing to move past Trump - particularly as Trump will keep injecting himself and his views into the national spotlight.BTW, my own position is, once Donald Trump is removed from office, leave him alone. Even if he committed crimes (and I’m pretty sure there are multiple crimes) don’t prosecute him. Any such prosecution, either federal or state, would consume the nation and make it difficult to go forward. So I say forget about it...and him.
That’s a horrible precedent. It would be an open invitation for other countries to pump millions of dollars into our election process in order to produce candidates that don’t necessarily have America’s interest first.I am OK with Dems getting Dirt on Trump from Iran.
Total bull#### and screw that. Justice needs served. more annoying milquetoast bull####. The damage he has done, the vileness. Make a strong statement. This guy is a sociopath and needs to be removed from public life.Bull####.BTW, my own position is, once Donald Trump is removed from office, leave him alone. That is illegal and has been determined to be treasonous. Not a good precedent to start... neither is unlimited money in elections but others disagree, unfortunately.I am OK with Dems getting Dirt on Trump from Iran.
Well, see, now we know why Rick Perry was involved.New breaking that Rudy associates were attempting to steer energy contracts as part of the quid pro quo. Wondering if whistleblowers are documenting.
These are activities which were done overseas. If we have presidential candidates going overseas and doing illegal activities, I don't care what sources expose them. That’s a horrible precedent. It would be an open invitation for other countries to pump millions of dollars into our election process in order to produce candidates that don’t necessarily have America’s interest first.
We really don’t want this.
na....that's not hypocritical. He's ok with what Trump's doing too. It's a lot of things, but hypocritical isn't one of them. That reeks of hypocrisy, just so you know. I don't care about either party, but somebody has to have some standards in this mess.
All sorts of work can be “done overseas” that attacks our electoral system and destabilizes our democracy. Do you really want to give foreign governments an open invitation to undermine our democracy? These are activities which were done overseas. If we have presidential candidates going overseas and doing illegal activities, I don't care what sources expose them.
Do you care that someone’s using the office of the Presidency to pressure other countries to help him win a political campaign? These are activities which were done overseas. If we have presidential candidates going overseas and doing illegal activities, I don't care what sources expose them.
Let’s see how passionate Trump is about this corruption.New breaking that Rudy associates were attempting to steer energy contracts as part of the quid pro quo. Wondering if whistleblowers are documenting.

And there is a process for that. These are activities which were done overseas. If we have presidential candidates going overseas and doing illegal activities, I don't care what sources expose them.
Pressuring or asking? According to Ukraine there was no pressure applied.Do you care that someone’s using the office of the Presidency to pressure other countries to help him win a political campaign?
I want to get back to normal. I want Democrats and Republicans to be able to work together again. We need an infrastructure bill and work on climate change way more than we need to prosecute one guy for corruption. Trump has opened up a gaping wound in this country. I want to close it.Total bull#### and screw that. Justice needs served. more annoying milquetoast bull####. The damage he has done, the vileness. Make a strong statement. ”Consume the nation”....plllleeeeaaasssse. What the hell has the past 2 years been? Jesus, the chaos president has single handedly destroyed decades of real work and we’re worried about Hallmark takes? Jesus.
So? You think every process is followed? What is the penalty for not following a process? And there is a process for that.
Even asking is illegal.Pressuring or asking? According to Ukraine there was no pressure applied.
I was referring to the suggestion that the Democrats do what Trump has done.na....that's not hypocritical. He's ok with what Trump's doing too. It's a lot of things, but hypocritical isn't one of them.
Depends on the process. If you’re asking for help from a foreign government on your political campaign, the penalty is reasonably considered to be impeachment and removal from office, among other things. So? You think every process is followed? What is the penalty for not following a process?
It's a self-serving belief. People with that type of belief know it is 100% wrong but if they can get others to agree with their wrong premise, then if everyone believes in it, ie "both sides", then that belief turns from "wrong" to "everyone does it." Thus, fulfilling a wrong belief to be fine since everyone does it.na....that's not hypocritical. He's ok with what Trump's doing too. It's a lot of things, but hypocritical isn't one of them.
Yeah, giving the mob boss a free pass is not “closing the gaping wound”. Demonstrating that there are consequences for unlawful and grossly unethical behavior would be significantly more effective. Additionally, that “gaping wound” existed before Trump. Ignoring justice does nothing to treat the patient.I want to get back to normal. I want Democrats and Republicans to be able to work together again. We need an infrastructure bill and work on climate change way more than we need to prosecute one guy for corruption. Trump has opened up a gaping wound in this country. I want to close it.
