**** OFFICIAL FFA 2025-2026 Fake NBA Draft **** - Draft Has Started (3 Viewers)

Ok, let’s get boring! Yo Mama selects:

9.09 - DeMar DeRozan, DeKangz F

Need more scoring on my second unit, and his spacing and defensive limitations aren’t as big of a negative on my team that already has plenty of both. Super reliable and consistent. Also, I’m bringing his daughter to all our home games to scream at opposing free throw shooters.

He's become a little too underrated to fall all the way to 121st pick. He couldn't and shouldn't start in a 14 team league, but his game is nearly unaffected by his own team's spacing and the defenders on the other team.

On the other hand, with all the shooters on the team like career 34% shooter, Josh Hart, and career 32% shooter, Draymond Green, and career 36% shooter Jaylen Green, and career 36% shooter, James Harden, and career 36% shooter, Myles Turner, and career 34% shooter Victor Wembanyama, spacing should be a non issue.

Oh, when I say spacing, I mean we’ll all be standing outside the 3-pt line taking lots of shots. Not saying we’re going to make them all. Lots of space for DeMar to take all his shots in the mid-range.

I'm mostly giving you a hard time (and realized that I said Jaylen Green rather than Brown but looked up Brown's stats) - most of those guys are better shooters than their % other than Hart and Green.

Well, we are entering the "severely flawed" level of players so what the heck:

09.10 - Colin Sexton, Charlotte Hornets
He’s been pretty good so far. The Hornets have been a fun watch this season.
I actually didn't realize how good he was from 3 (around 40% the last 3 seasons). I don't think I've seen him play since he left Cleveland.

He just isn't a good defender but as a shooter off the bench, I'll take it.

I considered him a good deal. On the plus side he doesn't seem to have slowed down much, can obviously create his own shot, decent passing. On the other hand he's old and only getting older, provides zero spacing, not good defender, and hasn't been on a winning team in who knows how long.

Still, at this point in the draft, with a role on the second team offense I think it's a good pick.

Since I’m bored, here’s who would be capped out already if we would have gone with a limit of 3 players per division:

Juxtatrot - Central, Northwest
Eephus - Atlantic
Frosty - Southeast, Northwest
Jayrod - Northwest
Me - Pacific
Scoobus - Southwest
Moops - Central
Chem X - Atlantic (4 taken)
Desert - Southwest
Msudaisy - Southeast

No real issues with East/West conference limits since everyone is either 5/4 or 6/3.

Juxtatarot with 4 in the Northwest, cheater!

Similar to the Lakers, I just need a decent big. I feel like he gets too much crap because of his #1 draft pick status, but he is viable starting center and he'll be a 15-20 mpg guy off of my bench.

Deandre Ayton - LA Lakers

@Yo Mama
Considered him last pick, maybe would've taken him this pick. Definitely in my top 5 of least favorite basketball players, so soft, dude just doesn't care.

Pretty sure I can win a foot race against some of the guys on my bench (I can’t). Aside from Cason, my backup unit is fairly old and slow. Yo Mama selects:

10.06 - Shaedon Sharpe, POR G

He can attack the basket, hit some threes, run the floor, and throw down some monster dunks.

@scoobus

James Harden, Cason Wallace
Desmond Bane, Shaedon Sharpe
Jaylen Brown, DeMar DeRozan
Victor Wembanyama, Josh Hart
Myles Turner, Draymond Green

I noticed earlier in the google sheet that Chem X left a WhatsApp number in the notes at the top of the draft sheet. Not sure if anyone uses that and would want to reach out. Not a rush since we’ve had plenty of gaps, but just in case.

Used to have one, but international folks I talk to would not be using a Facebook owned platform...
