Anyway, training camp eve!
Yeah, see, I didn't even know this.
So, other than all the annoying RG3 talk, what are we looking forward to this training camp?
Improvements on the OL
How the additions in the secondary look
Breeland and Keenan Robinson improving on last season
Hall coming back healthy
Garcon being more involved in the offense
Not that this necessarily means anything, but my tickets were delivered today and Hall is on one of them. Malcolm Kelly was on a ticket one year and then didn't even make the opening day roster.
As with most offseasons, it seems the team SHOULD be better. Sounds like the DL upgrades are significant and the DBs are now at least NFL-caliber, which wasn't the case last year. OL will be interesting. As usual, though, depth is going to be the big question. Once an injury or two hits, things tend to fall apart.
Not to nit pick, but it is not clear we have NFL caliber safeties. The big three are:
Dashon Goldson, who we trade for, but Tampa Bay was getting ready to cut
Jeron Johnson, who was a backup safety at Seattle and was signed to a modest free agent contract
Duke Ihenacho, who was cut by the Broncos last off season and sat on the bench for 3 games last year
