Long day of walking with my daughter. Got all three shiny evolves of the Turtwig. Daughter got a shiny Mr. Mime from a hatch. Got my regional stuff. but my best this week was a shiny Grimer and an in the wild, shiny Houndor.

Managed to find a shiny Dratini, shiny Bronzor, and a shiny Sentret. Still can't find a Ditto.
Did manage to figure out the egg issue I was having. Appears to be a timing issue as eggs were hatching the same time I was doing stops to load up on gifts. I had too many 5k/10k eggs. Used the weekend to clear some of those out and now making sure to open gifts after eggs hatch and hit the stops while incubating.

I found 2 level three raids over the weekend. Other than that, hardly any at all - like you said, it's either level 1 or level 5.

the other day i went on a pokermon go quest and found an old wrench that was under my deck and then a bee stung me so i called it a beeazoid and smashed it to death with the wrench which was a half inch and now i call it a half incharat i am pretty good at pokerman go is what i am getting at take that to the bank bromigos

I did three Mewtwo raids this morning. Two of them on my daughter’s account because she really wants one—both wouldn’t be caught and I ended up empty handed for her. I did one raid on my account and I caught it first throw. No shiny but frustrating for me to let her down.
Hsving fun catching the new Gen 5s, but they are getting yet more money out of me because I had to buy storage this morning.

2 shiny MewItwo so far although both stink. Guy in our chat group got a perfect shiny!
I didn't realize the shiny regionals were still a possibility so more $$$ on incubators! Really wish I could do a short-term play on Niantic stock cause this month they are killing it.

Did a fourth raid and got a Mewtwo (not shiny) for my daughter—so mission accomplished. Now to focus on my account and getting a shiny.
Keep in mind all 7k eggs hatch the regionals during the event. I’ve been fortunate enough to get a shiny Farfetch’d and shiny Mime and caught a shiny Tauros in wild. My wife got a shiny Kanga but don’t think she will trade to me without jewelry being involved. Few more days to go to get him though!Just opened an egg from Germany and found a 3* nearly perfect Mr. Mime. Felt like Xmas again. Still hunting that damn little Ditto tho. New disguises were released this week too.

trying to stock up on those 7k eggs. i have a few tauros and two kangas and one far fetched. now ive added the mime. still not finding a lot of shiny ones, but definitely high star ratings.

I had one last non-7k egg in my inventory that I am incubating now. Need to get it gone this weekend so I can have nine 7ks to go thru. The Mew raids this week have been very well attended, like 20-25 at every raid I have gone to, but today stunk. I was standing on a busy corner downtown, at lunch, with one other guy (yeah, there is a lot that can be said about that 
) , but no one else showed for the raid or even stopped to ask what the going price was. I was bummed on multiple levels there.....

I see a lot of raids around my area - but there is never anyone there. I'm usually the only one, and even then I don't stop as there is no way I'm taking down a 4+ Raid by my lonesome. I've managed one or two 3* Raids by myself, but not many. There are plenty of gyms around, and they always seem to be well stacked, but no one is there come Raid time.I had one last non-7k egg in my inventory that I am incubating now. On a sidenote, finally caught a Ditto on the way in to work this morning. Stopped at a nearby gym for fun and there it was! I thought I was just stocking up on candy to evolve another pokemon and it turned out to be a Ditto. Finally!

Check the internet for a local Pokemon group, they seem to be everywhere. I've found groups and jumped on their Discord groups and used their scanners back in the old days. I've found and joined Discord groups in Philly area, Cleveland area, Boston area, Disneyland area, etc. Pick the largest city nearby and search for city name, "Pokemon Go", "Discord". Results may be for groups in Facebook or on Reddit to start.

The new event looks like its staying in the proper regions. 1/4 stardust for trades is nice though, need to transfer one of my Mewtoo to my daughter

1/4 discount, this latest "event" is pretty underwhelming. Only part I'm interested in is potential Mr. Mime Jr.
My son is already complaining that the rescheduled Mewtwo raid hour is during soccer practice.
In addition to the new event, it seems like Niantic made major changes to spawn points. Up until yesterday afternoon we had 4 or 5 spawns around my office each hour and 1 spawn near my house each hour. Now it has been nearly reversed. Only seeing 1 spawn at my office each hour and 3 or 4 spawns near my house each hour. Wonder why they changed the spawn points/frequency so drastically?

So I am lucky that my office is a stop and (with drift) I can get two-three more. Lately I have gotten into the habit of wandering out of work when I see big raids in the museum/park next to me. I am always the middle-aged guy in a suit and tie playing with all the college kids. So I am in a raid there earlier this week and we had a full party of 20 going against the Giratina . It was a cakewalk and so the catch comes around and I get a shiny. So I yell out excitedly, "Wow, a shiny!!" At this point, 19 people looked at me like they were going to kill me. An hour later, I left work and I saw another close by raid. Ironically, most of that first group were in this one too. As soon as I get there, several guys were like, "So you going to get another shiny?" in the most sarcastic voices ever. I thought I was going to have to throw down with some young Pogo whippersnappers there for a second.
But that story aside, my question is, for this event, are the regionals available in the wild? I understand the European ones won't be here in Colorado, but say a Heracross? I know I have a chance to hatch one, but I see Sevipers and Solrocks everywhere in the wild and I just wonder about the Corsola and the Heracross. I don't have either of these.

One and two star for sure. If you have the right guys you can solo threes. I haven't had any luck on fours alone.

I am sure there is an obvious answer to this, but ever since the new update on the nearby list, Pokemon I already have caught are showing up as new/unknown.New ones w costumes are 1 Star easy to beat. Got a shiny squirtle in costume today!!

Not sure how it comes across on the app, but I'll apologize for spamming anyone with battle requests. We're on that item to level up and my son has been hitting up all 3* level friends nightly. I found out when he was telling me about no one being able to fight and how hard a time he was having. Hopefully it hasn't been too annoying.

I'm level 40 and it's not easy even with totally powered up level 40 Pokemon. Make sure you not only set your team with effective types but also have, or add a second, charged attack that powers up very quickly so you can take down their two shields right away.

I have played everyday (at least 5mins.) since 07-11-2016 (with my son) .... level 40 and 33,147,125 XP ........ 2,097 pokemon and 1,007,102 Dust
....... too many moving parts now - I think I am close to done
i liked old 10 deep gyms .... using Discord to track hard to find Pokemon was fun while it was a thing ...... also, wish it had more solo play --- i don't want to use messenger to meet up with 10 others (half of which always show up 10mins. late) to get the premium Pokemon......

68 million XP here and still find it fun but gotta focus on the parts I enjoy and downsize those that don’t. I enjoyed getting to 200 gold gyms, now on to something else as it got to be ‘work’ more than fun.
just finished Giovanni. I won’t give away lineups but agree would be difficult without right mons with right moves and powered up. For sure your first mon in each battle needs to have a charge move that powers quickly. Lucario w Power-up Punch was used a lot for me!
