Rasmussen? Okie Dokie.
Your claim that most people views blacks as being more racist than whites is not supported by your link.
Only 37% view most blacks as being racist, while 15% consider most whites racist.
That is a 22% difference and 22% may be a plurality, but it is not close to being a majority to qualify for the claim of being most.
In addition, no numbers are given as to how many or what percentage of blacks view blacks as being more racist - yeah, I imagine there are some, so "even blacks" is technically true, but that could be less than 10%.
I should have known better than to engage you.By posting a false claim about what a poll found?I should have known better than to engage you.
Are you ####### kidding me? We are in a debate about who is more racist - blacks or whites - and I say most people view blacks as racist. And you take that to mean more than 50%??? Oh my God dude. Talk about losing the forest through the trees. It calls into question what your motivations are for posting in this place - to accumulate points on some weird scoreboard in your head or engaging in fruitful discussions with people to hopefully learn a few things.By posting a false claim about what a poll found?
You can't dispute what I have to say legitimately, so you misstated the poll results and provided a link figuring no one would actually read it (either that or Breitbart made the same claim and you ran with that). In any event, it was dishonest on your part and calls into question any conclusions on poll results you post in the future.
He's probably too prideful to be signed for cheap.Maybe somebody really desperate grabs him late for cheap, but I doubt it.
What is his next chapter , community organizer? He's probably too prideful to be signed for cheap.
He already has been helping those in the AA community by donating money to inner-city groups and organizations (of which I am sure you are aware). From a December article, he is making good on his pledge to donate $1 Million plus jersey sale proceeds:What is his next chapter , community organizer?
I thought opening this thread would make me angry, but this is a gem.NYJ are the perfect fit. They'll get him cheap & you know they'll be awful. Great spot to watch his career conclude.
We were never in that debate. I mentioned that most blacks believe there is systemic racism in this country and you counter with this weird non-sequitur that most people think blacks are more racist than whites, which we was not related to what I was talking about. I never said anything about how one group views another as far as racism goes. Are you ####### kidding me? By the way, you're not even right. The first definition of "most" is in "the greatest quantity, amount, measure, degree, or number" - as in "to win the most votes". And yes, I'll cite my source - ####### Dictionary.com. Knowing you, you'll come back and say they are not a credible site.![]()

That doesn't mean they are correct. If you ask most black people if there is systemic racism in the country, a majority will say yes.

Um, well, no...what anyone believes doesn't mean it is correct. Why would you assume I am white?Um, well, no...what anyone believes doesn't mean it is correct.
But Higgs claimed the idea of systemic racism in this country has been completely debunked, citing a dubious Rasmussen poll which didn't confirm what he said it did because it had to do with perception, not necessarily reality. The 37% of people who say it doesn't exist doesn't mean they are correct either, if you want to be consistent.
My point was that most black people you talk to, believe that it does exist - because they experience it in their lives on a daily basis - something Higgs, myself or you (assuming you are white) never encounter or probably even have an awareness of.
Over 90% Caucasian here, as per last forum poll done (more like 95% IIRC) which was why I added the disclaimer. The odds are with me by making that assumption, better than what I can get in Vegas. Why would you assume I am white?

More on that for those unfamiliar with the story.Props to Colin and all others in getting all of that food and water to Somalia. It's a shame there isn't more attention being given that situation.
In 2011, Bryant agreed to a plea deal of six months pre-trial probation, after he was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest, following an incident with his wife.
According to a Massachusetts State Police report, witnesses claimed they saw Bryant place his hands on his estranged wife's neck and push her into a parked car outside a pizza parlor, while his 6-year-old son was in the back seat.
The state trooper wrote in his report, “Per the witnesses, the black male (Bryant) released the female when he observed my cruisers emergency lights.”
However, as part of the deal, Bryant's attorney and prosecutors agreed that a review of the evidence did not support witness allegations of violence, but Bryant admitted that police had probable cause to arrest him.
Bryant also apologized for giving the impression that race was a factor in the actions of police (Bryant is black and his wife is white) - an allegation initially leveled by his attorney.[3] [4] [5] [6] @squistion
It's something he's quite good at.68 pages of Squisy completely embarrassing himself.
I love this thread!
ClassicGood tweet by more people I'm not familiar with by Squistion, Howard Bryant is the authority here.
Thanks @squistion
I looked him up, seems like a trustworthy fellow. I enjoy reading the opinions of people who strangle their wife in front of their children. Who else you following on that all-star roster of twitter that you always feel the need to share?
Agree. It says there is still some integrity left around the league. If there is any truth to the Bleach Report interview with the anonymous GM:

If Kaepernick is completely blackballed, it says more about the NFL and its teams than him.
They're also using him to keep the rest in line.

Yes, indeed, an unannounced blackballing of a player shows soooo much integrity.Agree. It says there is still some integrity left around the league.
Kaepernick sucks. The NFL tends to blackball crappy players.
Colin Fahey's extensive study of QBs/WRs would indicate otherwise (I posted his stats previously).Kaepernick sucks. The NFL tends to blackball crappy players.
I don't even care about the anthem business. I know it's a factor for some people, but if I were a GM, I wouldn't be interested bc I think he isn't good. Yeah, Fahey might disagree with me. I still think he is a crap player. I'm proud for the stance he took for the anthem, if that's what he wants to do, but that doesn't win football games.Colin Fahey's extensive study of QBs/WRs would indicate otherwise (I posted his stats previously).
I am fairly certain that he will be starting again somewhere for another team within the next two seasons. If Fitzpatrick can keep getting shots and Glennon lands a decent starting gig, someone will take a chance on Kaep and there shouldn't be that much of a PR hit since he is will be standing for the anthem.
"Integrity" is judging a player by things other than his political beliefs. It doesn't take much integrity to take the easy way out and do what the rest of the herd does.Agree. He would fit the field really well there. He will play again. In Canada.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbrIsn't his QBR below replacement value? Who wants to sign a clipboard holder with the attendant baggage? The only two places I could see would be SF (who didn't want him) and Seattle (who doesn't need him). He made a choice which is admirable to stand (or sit) for his convictions, and if he is being blackballed at least he can be satisfied in knowing that he did what he thought was right regardless of the consequences. I don't think he will be destitute any time in the near future if he had a good financial plan in place.
He will be dead broke within 5 years of being out of the league. Bank on itIsn't his QBR below replacement value? Who wants to sign a clipboard holder with the attendant baggage? I'd take that bet. He's a smart guy even if he's not a great QB.He will be dead broke within 5 years of being out of the league. Bank on it
Well he's got the money coming in from SpongeBob. That should helpI'd take that bet. He's a smart guy even if he's not a great QB.
Wrong."Integrity" is judging a player by things other than his political beliefs.
That was a typo, his first name is Cian and I posted several of his tweets with Kaep stat information before that, but anyway:Colin Fahey? All I can find on that name is a guy who help design NCAA 2001, is this the guy Squistion is referring to?
Since Squish doesn't understand this stuff, I'll help him out:
Kaep looks like he weighs 190 soaking wet right now. He was closer to 230 when he was actually respectable numerous years ago. Nobody wants to roll the dice on a controversial QB, who hasn't been good in years, that will prob be hurt after 4 games. You know, because running QB's need to be built like Cam Newton, not Kevin Durant.
Pretty obvious who he was referring to. It's a running joke on Lebatard (other shows too?) for callers to address him by the wrong name so the typo is understandable.Colin Fahey? All I can find on that name is a guy who help design NCAA 2001, is this the guy Squistion is referring to?
Because nobody on here has ever toed the line to get/keep a job. Get out of here with that bull####.need2know said:People keep forgetting he's also a backup level QB. I don't blame any front office for not wanting him. It's not worth it. Also thought he showed alot by saying he would now stand for the anthem. He says this the day after he's released when he needs a job. What a turd.
The game is difficult enough so NFL teams do not like "distractions & noise" around the team. That is why certain players no matter how talented bounce around from team to team. And for CK to announce he will stand after becoming an UFA is very disingenuous on his part.[scooter] said:"Integrity" is judging a player by things other than his political beliefs.
