I'd personally go with Sanchez. At home with much better weapons.Starting him over Sanchez and Tannehill.
This is what I am struggling with. I have Cam in now but there is a good chance I'll switch to Sanchez. I have Benjamin too so if Cam has a good night I should get a piece of it anyway.I'd personally go with Sanchez. At home with much better weapons.Starting him over Sanchez and Tannehill.
I think six of one, half dozen of the other. Good matchup both ways, Sanchez has the better supporting cast, Newton is more likely to do damage with his feet. I think we need to consider that Foles isn't spectacular, but his offense is. If that is the case, Sanchez probably has the higher ceiling tonight, but probably Newton with the higher floor.Godsbrother said:This is what I am struggling with. I'd say the opposite. Cam has both a 5pt and 34pt game this year by my scoring. He's low floor high ceiling all the way. This offense probably promises Sanchez has a high floor but his talent is going to cap his ceiling.I think six of one, half dozen of the other. Be that as it may, Cam has entered the "really easy" part of his schedule, and to me, his upside is really just capped by his supporting cast. On the other hand, pretty much every QB that plays in Chip Kelly's system looks good. Foles threw for 7 TDs in his first game starting (didn't he??) - Foles is not a transcendent talent. It wouldn't shock me in the least bit of Sanchez went right off tonight.I'd say the opposite. Cam has both a 5pt and 34pt game this year by my scoring. He's low floor high ceiling all the way. So this is an example of the low floor.Be that as it may, Cam has entered the "really easy" part of his schedule, and to me, his upside is really just capped by his supporting cast. Looks like I made the wrong choice. Good Lord is he terrible. Looks like Sanchez will be in my lineup from here on out.Starting him over Sanchez and Tannehill.
+1Erratic thrower. Not a great attitude. Without his legs, this guy is a bottom of the barrel NFL starting QB.
Down 24? All good. His on field antics have always rubbed me the wrong way and I'm kind of happy I haven't had to see that fake grin and Superman routine yet tonight.

Whew. Glad I started SanchezGodsbrother said:This is what I am struggling with. I have Cam in now but there is a good chance I'll switch to Sanchez. yep, no confidence but can't sit him against the Falconers.that was garbage time at it's finest. might have pulled out the win barring stat corrections later this week, but no longer starting with any confidence. His matchups look so good though....
The o-line was back except for 1 person (a rookie)Started him last night over Sanchez but was luckily up by 22 pts anyway so it didn't matter. Difficult situation now - RG3 ( who was my initially drafted QB ) is on waivers against Tampa, and don't really like Sanchez at Lambeau. Don't really want to drop Cam quite yet either - seems ridiculous to roster 3 QBs this week but I'm kind of leaning that way i.e. playing RG3 if I can get him and sitting on Cam and Sanchez.
Very annoying as thought the QB position wouldn't be a problem going forward with Cam and his great schedule.
Do people see any reasons for an improvement going forward, because I'm not seeing much ? Does any of that O line get back from injury anytime soon ?

commentators on TV and probably don't listen to them very much but Gruden was 100% correct in everything he said last night. Cam's broken...he's been defeated and has no supporting cast whatsoever. Not only that, but if we are to believe the yahoo reports, he's injured his right ankle/foot compensating for the surgically repaired left foot that didn't have enough time to heal. Sad to say, it's not going to get any better the rest of the year IMO.

He just stinks.Flipped him (and KB and C-Pat) last week for Eli (and Marshall and V-Jax). Loving it. Guy is in a bad situation with a fragile ego and a busted body.

Despite Cam Newton moving worse than usual Monday night and taking a career-high nine sacks as a result, Panthers coach Ron Rivera insisted Tuesday his quarterback is "not injured."
"I'm not sure where all that came from," Rivera told reporters, per NFL.com. "But he's not injured."
I know where it came from. Gruden and others thinking that because he stinks, he must be hurt. No Rivera is setting everyone straight. He stinks.

I have watched probably 99% of cams pro career and can tell you without a shadow of a doubt he is banged up badly. There's nothing wrong with him physically. Mentally beat up yeah. Physically, he is no more beat up than anyone else that is out there after 10 weeks. He said so himself.I have watched probably 99% of cams pro career and can tell you without a shadow of a doubt he is banged up badly. There's nothing wrong with him physically. So, he's plenty beat up?? I can see how two jacked up ankles, one being surgically repaired could hamper a QB in general, not to mention one that uses his legs as much as he doeslod01 said:Mentally beat up yeah. Oh, well Cam has certainly been a beacon of honesty throughout his career. I'm not sure what you're defending. He's beat up, unhealthy - whatever you want to call it. Why is this so difficult?lod01 said:Mentally beat up yeah. Physically, he is no more beat up than anyone else that is out there after 10 weeks. What I'm saying is that his suckage is not at all due to any injuries. It's due to the fact that he is not any good at playing NFl QB. Once his legs go away, as they will, the more he gets hit, the more he will suck. His game is great for college but in the NFL, he's just a big guy with a big arm that can run. That doesn't get it done.Oh, well Cam has certainly been a beacon of honesty throughout his career. I'm not sure what you're defending. He's beat up, unhealthy - whatever you want to call it. Yeah being hurt won't affect his game at all. Not to mention the fact that their line is garbage, their RBs can't stay healthy and they have one good WR who is a rookie and runs terrible routes.lod01 said:What I'm saying is that his suckage is not at all due to any injuries.
