QB Trevor Lawrence, JAX (2 Viewers)

I don’t know how a QB can have such a horrendous start to their playoff career and turn it around the way he did. The dude is absolutely going to be a stud. The 4 QBs left in the AFC are Allen, Mahomes, Burrow and Lawrence. Just wow.
I’ve been watching football for a looooong time, like most here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bounce back performance like that. Really amazing.

It will be interesting to see how Trevor plays against KC. He’s playing with house money at this point and I’m sure Doug Pederson will have him prepared. Don’t sleep on TLaw. He has the arm, speed. attitude, and experience. Hopefully Pederson utilizes his running game against KC as I think that is his best kept secret.

If anyone knows the way Reid thinks its Pederson. This is a fascinating game - gonna be a good one I think. For sure the Jags cover in my opinion and can definitely win this thing. Chiefs are not this high and mighty team.

The Jags played us well this year at Arrowhead so that mystique won't be there or the fear.

Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Lamar (if he stays), Watson (if he stops getting "massages" and goes back to what he was) and now Lawrence...has a chance to be a "golden era" in the AFC.

TLaw impressed the heck out of me this year.

The game is clearly slowing down for him, and he looks confident and aggressive out there.

And I don’t think he’s close to his eventual ceiling as a QB.

I wish I had him on a roster.

Trevor Lawrence completed 24-of-32 pass attempts for 241 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Jaguars’ 31-21 Week 1 win against the Colts, adding seven rushes for 21 yards.

Lawrence was excellent in the first half before the Jaguars slowed things down in the second half. Time and again he looked to Calvin Ridley, who used his speed to separate from defenders. Lawrence found Ridley on a scramble drill touchdown in the first half and later connected with Zay Jones on a gorgeous throw in the corner of the end zone. His accuracy on timing routes was on point all day. Lawrence will be a top fantasy option in Week 2 against the Chiefs.

Jameis Winston 2.0 it's time to stop thinking his big break is right around the corner and admit he's not that good until he proves otherwise.

I disagree. It's not as bad as the box score makes it look. There have been several TD's slightly out of bounds or just plain dropped. Two false starts by Ridley yesterday. The team is only a little out of synch. It won't take much to get things moving the right direction. It really would help to get Zay Jones back.

Ya last week I think both Zay and Ridley were inches from TDs 4 times. As a qb though you need to throw catchable balls and differences between greatness and mediocrity can be inches. He’s got the talent and the weapons…might be a decent time to buy low if an owner has Lawrence paired with another QB like Love, Richardson, Tua, Stroud

It's not like the weapons are bad. Plenty of #2 options which is better than most and Ridley expected to be a #1 option...but maybe that was fool's gold. He was out of football.

Etienne is also someone they must respect. Perhaps this is why Doug Pederson was remaining on the shelf.

I rarely see 300 yard 3 td games from Lawrence. I've rostered a backup now going forward as I do not think he's must start anymore.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he did not take over offensive play calling in Week 3 against the Texans.
The Jacksonville offense, after another lousy first half against the Texans, came out firing in the second half, scoring on three of their first four possessions. That sparked speculation that Pederson had taken play calling duties away from offensive coordinator Press Taylor. “I communicated with Press and the offensive staff, you know, no more or less than I usually do,” Pederson said. “I think grabbing their attention at halftime and just letting them know that the first 30 minutes was unacceptable. It’s not up to what our standards are and our expectations, including my expectations for this football team.” If the Jaguars offense continues to struggle — they’re 29th in EPA per play — look for Pederson to get more involved with the direction of the unit.

Keep starting him- keep getting disappointed. To the bench he goes. Then again qb scoring is awful these days and he outscores Josh Allen lol
