This guy's top speed yesterday (even with runways from catching passes in the open) was 16.77 MPH. Ben Solak reported that last year he didn't hit 17.5 MPH.
I would seriously worry. Teams are going to catch on. I noticed that he didn't bounce one run outside or even attempt to. People might nod and go "North-South!" but that's not really what you want your fantasy guys doing. Most points happen when teams run the ball outside because guys break them for long ones.
Kyren Williams has never been known as a speedster—in the least. He topped out at 18.5 or so MPH yesterday.
It's not looking pretty for this guy. If you've got him in redraft then you can go, "okay, CMC, just don't look so egregiously bad they know SF isn't running when you're out there," and you will probably be okay. I'm not into offering advice one way or another, but you should be aware of this if you roster him in dynasty.

Solak wrote, “The four games in which McCaffrey played last season were concerning. NFL Next Gen Stats had his maximum speeds in those four games at 16.4, 16.7, 16.1 and 17.4 mph. For context, that 17.4 mph mark would have been his fifth worst in a game during the 2023 season, when he was the MVP of the 49ers’ Super Bowl-bound offense.” - espn.com, May 27, 2025
I'm trying to find the actual link, but since it's ESPN, I'm afraid it's lost. Nope, found it.
