I really enjoyed watching Cam Skattebo, and I'm bummed for him, the fans of football in general, and the Giants, but that is also tempered with my initial impressions of the dynamic that exists with him, and those are lodged here and there's no need to go over them again. I don't think my feelings about how an impassioned feeling for him would develop were in any way wrong (in fact, they were kind of spot-on, but his quality compared to the fervor with which he was greeted was a lot closer and fairer than I thought). I do think Skattebo was better than meno has him marked for, and Skattebo's high-value touches (overall catches and carries inside the five) easily made him a RB1, and I think he was actually easily in the RB6-10 range, if not potentially higher than that.
I also roster Tyrone Tracy in dynasty, which probably makes no sense, but I do. I'm not as enamored of Tracy as I once was, but I think both the offensive line and his health (ankle) were compromised at the end of last year, and this year saw him with similar problems (but Thomas is now back and his shoulder is hopefully better, although that injury looked so ugly he's likely just playing through it, I suspect)—in addition to knowing he really isn't the Giants brass' or the fans' guy even though they drafted him and pumped him up.
As far as measuring talent or skill when we think about Skattebo and Tracy, you can't really look at YPC and come to a conclusion about a back. There are other and better measures and YPC actually, if you look at it, leaves the person judging or looking at a stat that gives you a very warped picture of a RB.
Anyway, enough of that. If you claim Tracy and happen to get him, enjoy this! Relative athletic score. We will see how he does. I've got a tepid temperature when it comes to being warmly confident in the young man.
