**Saturday Nightcap on NFLN - Cardinals at Rams**(-6.5, 48) 8:10 (1 Viewer)

IF James Connor is out a big edge to the home team
Cardinals haven't lived up to preseason expectations imop
Rams are tough,gritty,fighters
In a Prime Time matchup
Even though it's a divisional game
I think The Rams are too much for Kyler and the Cards
So...

Matthews Marauders- 30
Kyler's Cuties- 17

This feels like an upset special to me. Cards have no pressure to win, Cards crushed the Rams (albeit without Puka) earlier in the season. If you are a bit of a conspiracy theorist, you could argue the Rams need to lose so that Rams/Seahawks is the Sunday Night game next week.

I think the Rams offense has looked very sketchy of late. I think Puka gets his, bit I could see the rest of the offense underwhelming.

Looks like Conner is playing, and I think he'll have a lot of success. I also think McBride has a huge game.

-What are the Rams playing for on Saturday Night? Ask yourself that as they lay 6.5 points and ultimately MUST play Seattle for the NFC West next week, time to rest their starters
BEWARE!

GO!

Rams can clinch this week, but they need several other teams to win. I would think they would try to win the division now rather than against Seattle if possible
Rams 9-6
Seattle 9-7

...I thought even if the Rams win Sat Night and go 10-6, they still would face Seattle next week and what if they lose that game and both teams end up 10-7?
I don't know the exact tiebreakers but I felt strongly that with Washington at 10-5 and could lock up the 7 seed as Packers are likely the 6-seed, either DET or MN will end up the 5-seed
Gulp!

The fifth tiebreaker criteria is strength of victory – in other words, the combined winning percentage of the opponents each team has beaten. The Rams currently hold a sizeable advantage in this tiebreaker and can clinch it this week if Minnesota, Buffalo, San Francisco, Washington, Cincinnati and Cleveland combine for at least 3.5 wins (a tie would count for one-half of a win). So if Los Angeles gets a win or ties Arizona and receives the combined win total it needs from the teams listed above, the Seahawks will be eliminated from the playoffs this week.

Didn't watch the Sat games last weekend or the Christmas games, barely awake last night
And tomorrow I'll either splurge for NFL+ or I won't but could take another day off from the NFL
It's sorta boring outside of DET/MN in the North, AFC is pretty set unless teams really start to fall apart
And then does anyone really trust the Miami Dolphins to make to Playoffs? 2 pretty cold road games at Cle and NYJ...Miami is terrible in cold weather vs good or bad teams

I like where you're coming from. I'm rolling out Conner & Puka in one and McBride in the other.

Imma go ahead and jinx myself. I have Kyler and Conner going now in my only high stakes league. I love this league. Met these dudes in Vegas 4 Septembers ago complaining that the big national contests needed IDPs. We fleshed out some rules, and whew, decided on a $1500 buy in. I almost balked at that, but wth. I've made the playoffs once and led in total points once, both times earning my entry fee back. Finished dead last once too. Finished 2nd this year and playing the regular season champ this weekend.

I am curb stomping him with a lot of football yet to play. It's SF and I have Burrow and Higgins. It's big play IDP and I have Zach Allen and Derwin James. It's 2k to the runner up and 10k to me. me me me. LFG!!!!!

Every time I see Kyler play, it just reminds me of those old time “Keystone Cops” cartoons. 5 times normal speed and no direction.

I am taxed out after that Cincy sweat but I must move on to this next game once again taxing me out.

I am currently #3 in the NFFC prime and I have Kyren (I had Burrow, Chase, Higgins)

I am currently in that cutline with 4 guys now Conner, Puka, McBride and Rams D

I am currently #3 in RTS with no one

I am currently #46 in RTS with Kryen and Kupp (I was #1 in the regular season but damn playoffs are hard)
I had Burrow, Chase, Higgins

LFG!!!!!!!!!!!

Have money on the Rams.. but I kind of want to see them lose so we have at least one meaningful game for primetime next week, with SEA/LAR deciding the west.
