Finished Gary on Peacock. The Gary Coleman doc. I'm a sucker for docs like this. Such a sad tragic tale.
I stumbled into that one a few years back...and binged it hard. Really good- and seemingly underrated given how little people talk about it.I actually just qued that up for a rewatch. Can't remember much of it but I remember really enjoying it. Anything set in that era I'm in on.Started Halt and Catch Fire. I'm in.
Good era and concept and I like the characters so far.
I remember enjoying this as well. My wife and I were watching it and we liked it. Probably made it to mid second season. Honestly can't remember why we stopped watching. Presumably, based on the year I remember watching it, we got distracted by The Queen's Gambit or something.I actually just qued that up for a rewatch. What service are you watching it on?Started Halt and Catch Fire. I'm in.

Hilarious. Loved that show at the time. Would prolly be a comedy today. Ha hai am rewatching Miami Vice .
I forgot how cheesey it was and how bad it got in the last couple of seasons. There is so many things that i completely blanked on , like when Sheena Easton married Don Johnson for a couple of the episodes out of the blue
I watched the first episode on prime and really like it so I was disappointed when I needed another service. Never heard of this one. Kind of hate that I have to download it. Is it going to make me download the individual movies/shows I want to watch or just the service? What service are you watching it on?Started Halt and Catch Fire. I'm in.

Stremio. I have a policy that if a show is on some new streaming service I've never heard of, they can screw off with that. Already paying enough for the major ones. I have no problem going to stremio+RD for stuff like this.

I just met his crew chief Doug Richert here in novato; what a cool mofoNew Earnhardt documentary![]()
I liked some stuff in the start of season 2, but otherwise it was a slog. All of the characters have been so dumb.Squid Games 3 ... ughh. Was not good. Better than season 2 but forgettable. And I hate to say it, but I can't keep the characters apart when it moves quick. Too many have the same hairstyle.
If you like the concept of this and Hunger Games, suggest you watch Battle Royale. The modern leader when it came to the concept.
Great music in every season imoi am rewatching Miami Vice .

yeah, Abby Elliot and Gillian Jacobs are pretty. But 1 of those is his sister so she can't be his love interest, at least not on that channel.I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. And I have to ask...am I in the minority with not buying the whole Claire Bear is gorgeous narrative? I just don't see it.
Tiffany, Sugar and Jessica are all more attractive than Claire. Yet, characters in the show keep raving about Claire.

Claire does it for me. I have not seen any large-scale discussion of this topic so I don't know which side is the "majority".I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. She’ll always be Jeanette from How I Met Your Nother to me. Not hot.I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. And I have to ask...am I in the minority with not buying the whole Claire Bear is gorgeous narrative? I just don't see it.

Maybe I'm the only one thinking about it. But, it just takes me out of the story (like "The Wedding" episode) when characters are raving about how gorgeous she is and I'm thinking "Who? Claire?".Claire does it for me. I have not seen any large-scale discussion of this topic so I don't know which side is the "majority".I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. I'm not suggesting an incestuous relationship....just better casting.yeah, Abby Elliot and Gillian Jacobs are pretty. Maybe you could write for The Bear....it's a comedy you know.I know you weren't. Was just trying to make a joke. Still pretty hit or miss in the comedy section.
"Her?"I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. And I have to ask...am I in the minority with not buying the whole Claire Bear is gorgeous narrative? I just don't see it.

I just watched the first episode. It's interesting enough. I'll watch more when I get appletv . Skimmed the reviews on IMDB and a lot of people were saying that it doesn't have too much to do with Asimov's novels...would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during that pitch meeting.Got a 3 month free Apple TV run and binging Apple stuff. Never read Isaac Asimov, but got through season 1 of Foundation. So George Lucas cribbed Asimov/Foundation in making Star Wars, right?
I gave a review above. If you liked the first episode you'll enjoy the series.First episode of Dept. Q was very good.
Thats my kind of show.I really don't think Earth Abides is really that bad. Yes, it's a bit slow and yes, there are dumb things for the sake of plot (but isn't that almost every movie and tv show?) and yes. episode 2 is a little batshit crazy but I think it's a bit underrated (not by much). The message is a little heavy handed which I think may have turned off some viewers. By no stretch of the imagination is this a masterpiece but it holds pretty dismal ratings..6.2 on IMDB/63% on RT. There have only been 4 critic ratings so lets just say 75% since it doesn't show up. I'm giving this a solid 6.5 but I could be persuaded to do a 7.0. I wouldn't argue that its a "must see" but I think it is decent enough to watch.
Amazon was running a special a few days back and I nabbed mgm+ for .99 for 3 montsExcept its on Mgm.
It's funny someone brought it up, because this entire season 4 I've been thinking back to previous seasons (1-2?) where I distinctly remembered Claire as being "hot" yet in this season she is very decidedly just average to me at best. A week or so back I actually Googled to see if Claire had been replaced with another actress because it threw me off so much.Claire does it for me. I have not seen any large-scale discussion of this topic so I don't know which side is the "majority".I've got two episodes left in the current season of The Bear. I am just finished S3 and definitely agree Claire does it for me too. Hated the cliche ending with her in S2.Claire does it for me. If you haven't seen The Shield do that one. I just finished it up. It is very entertaining.Someone mentioned earlier about Homicide: Life on the Street so I started this series. I am sucker for cop shows but never watched this one when it came out
4 is better than 3. Episode 7 is the gem. I still think Claire is hot in 4 but others seem to disagree.I am just finished S3 and definitely agree Claire does it for me too. She's very cute girl next door type which I like a lot. And one of the few characters I didn't want to punch.
Heading into S4, I enjoyed S2 best so far. Spent S1 hating everyone but Carmy. Overall not loving it as much as most here, not hating it. Not sure I would rewatch it once finished.
I watched The Shield earlier this year for the 1st time and i agree with you on it was very entertainingIf you haven't seen The Shield do that one. I just finished it up. Planning a first rewatch of The Shield after I finish my 3rd rewatch of The Wire. On S4 now. So good.I watched The Shield earlier this year for the 1st time and i agree with you on it was very entertainingIf you haven't seen The Shield do that one. I just finished it up. I liked 4 better than 3 as well, and I think Claire is pretty in all the seasons. The camera seemed to zoom in a lot this season on some of the character's faces, so I guess people got a good look at her. Anyway, I think she is naturally pretty.4 is better than 3. Episode 7 is the gem. I still think Claire is hot in 4 but others seem to disagree.
Agree, solid show, enjoyed it a lotI gave a review above. If you liked the first episode you'll enjoy the series.First episode of Dept. Q was very good.
Maybe it hurts my impression of Episode 7, but I was interrupted when watching it and it got split into two separate viewings. I thought it dragged and was too long.4 is better than 3. definitely was breaking an arm patting himself on the back.Jaws at 50 - documentary
I didn't expect for too much new to be said. But this was slobbery, self-congratulations of the highest order.
I don't consider it a comedy. There are some funny lines and moments in it, but it is more a drama vs comedy. Maybe it could be a dramedy, but I still think it's much more on the drama side. I do remember laughing when Carmy said to Richie, "Don't talk **** to me through the baby."Does someone want to convince me The Bear is properly classified as a comedy.
Great show, but just because there are some funny lines does not a comedy make.
