Team 100291 in with 193 points!! Only semi-scare was in week 11. So much for the theory that it is beneficial to come in just over the cut line...thereby dropping some teams out of the contest with similar lineups. Also, had some guy tell me after week one that I was in trouble because I had "wasted" too many points. week 1: +93week 2: +33week 3: +25week 4: +55week 5: +40week 6: +38week 7: +50week 8: +38week 9: +39week 10: +16week 11: +8week 12: +44week 13: +25Anyway, good luck everyone. I'm assuming just about every team in the 250 has a legitimate shot to win this.
Looks like you wasted a whole lot of points. :D

This is my first final 250 as well. Stoked to be alive.

However, I will say I have no expectation of winning. I have been just above the cut line almost every week, and have never cleared 200. It's gonna take an average of 200 a week for the next three to be in the thick of it.

Even still, can't wait to see how it all shakes out.

It's nice to know I have a one in 250 shot at 25k!

Made it by 1.8 points  First week that came really down to the wire for me as I needed all of Brady's 40.6 to get in

Let me be the first to say if it hasn;t already been said....certainly hope for an Arian Foster dud or 3...my RB stable can carry me if Foster stumbles down the stretch...or at least I hope so :lmao:

BOL gents...this has been alot of fun :banned:

My 74-year-old dad made the finals. If there is an older finalist than that, they should step up and take a bow.

Um, once you get up to that age, taking a bow is difficult, no? :) Seriously, though, congrats to your dad! :goodposting:

Speaking of which...where's your update on 18 wr guy and his buddies.
LOL here you go :) Sorry still trying to come to grips with being out. :lmao:

Anyhow, here are the entries with the highest number of players at each position still alive:

There were 12 people who tied for the most QBs with 4.

9 RB Guy!

This year's hero - 18 WR Guy!!! :goodposting:

5 TE Guy #1!

5 TE Guy #2!

There are 5 guys with 5 kickers who made it. (We Miss You 21-kicker guy!!! )

6 Defense Guy!

168.80. Congrats to all in the final 250.
168.25 :lmao:
omg thats brutal.i dont feel as bad scoring 140 now lol.
The difference would have been, what, one more catch or 6 more rushing yards from Tomlinson on Monday night.

I was sunk with Gore out for the season now anyway. This was just a tease.
A catch for no yards would've been a real tease as that woulda put you at 168.75-QG

POst your best 3 week stretch this year for those still alive ...and the weeks.I scored 640.35 weeks 7-9
What are you last three weeks are much more relevant as those are non-bye weeks.
The last three weeks may be more relevant because they reflect the current status of your team with respect to injuries, etc., but not because of byes in other weeks. If anything, bye weeks should decrease your scores, so a high 3-week period then would still show a potential to do it now.FWIW, my best three weeks also happen to be the last three weeks--I like to think I'm building momentum at the right time.

Doug ---

Can you break down the week 14 sim? I understand AvScore, but what is the #1, #2, #3? My initial guess is that it is the percentage the team is the #1 for the week, ##2, 6-10, etc. Is that correct?

The Hawks would have selected Forte instead of Gore and would be moving on to the final 250. That $25K would have come in handy in case Harrison doesn't blow up in the last 4 weeks.

If you are watching tonights game to keep track of contest players, here are some players and the number of remaining teams that have them

P. Manning - 5

Wayne - 8

Garcon - 105

Chris Johnson - 22

Britt - 0 - last two teams got eliminated last week

Nate Washington - 3

Randy Moss - 4

Bo Scaife - 0

At this point in the contest - you want to have players that have low numbers of remaining owners have big games to differentiate you from the pack.

Good luck to those that have some players going tonight (I have Garcon).

So who's rooting for what from Foster tonite this week?

Until last week, big Foster weeks favored the larger rosters. Last week it dramtically shifted the other way.

I actually hope Foster is huge during the next 3 weeks. I lost Gore, so I am down to Foster, Bradshaw, T Jones, and McGahee. I need Foster's score to count for all owners so it negates my depth disadvantage. If you have depth at RB after Foster, you want him to do bad.

22 CJ owners...the breakdown of the non-Garcon CJ owners18 - 5, take note of 108735 and 111325, could be tough nuts to crack

19 - 4

20 - 2

22 - 2

30 - 1, good ole 18 WR guy :goodposting:

I'm 21 roster guy missing Deangelo. Was defiantly a good night, but my only startable rb's are foster and Hightower. Also gonna have to take Rogers qb points with Anderson pretty much useless. I'm 4 th in the week 14 sim but 75 th on the overall, whatever that means.
