Summerpalooza: Now at QB for the Buffalo Bills...Goo Goo Dolls (3 Viewers)

Picked up the Seahawks so give me

Losers by S
Wow. I'm running a pair of Grado SR60s off of a Dragonfly DAC/headphone amp and Jitterburg noise reducer (USB computer) while watching the football game, and this sounds awesome.

People here might know I love my cans/rig, so I'm just spitballing.

And my team is awesome right now. Probably jumping into second.

One thing never addressed in the rules: Can we use cover songs (actual or original location) in certain markets?

My job is to meet and then help people. I love this as a soundtrack to those activities.

I like this song - it is worth a full lisen
My good buddy Jeb grew up with two members of this band so I've been with them from the beginning when he first brought us to see them at the 712 Club in Harlem in 1989. I've since seen them about 35-40 times over the years, recently at City Winery in NYC a few months back. One of the tightest live bands out there. They never quite made it huge but got some radio play (and still do on XM's Jam On) and on one of the H.O.R.D.E. tours they went on third to last before only Blues Traveler and the Black Crowes which was likely their peak of recognition.

I know of God Street. They're actually huge in the jam band world. Then again, I hung out in jam band central (even though always a punk/indie kid) back in the day because of school, location, etc.

"Hartford, CT, deserves what it gets," said a metal friend of mine after finding out Dave Matthews had sold out HTFD for three straight nights again.

It's funny because I always hated the DMB and part of it was out of resentment that they made it so big when GSW couldn't.

A little bit of Monday.

Added: Vance McDonald - Pit - TE - Rice University (Houston)

Song: Dirty Rotten Imbeciles - Nursing Home Blues

This is how much to trust Rotoworld:

Vance McDonald appears to be behind Jesse James as the Steelers main tight end since he had less snaps and less catches than James in Week 2, and until Ben Roethlisberger starts targeting McDonald, expect him to have little fantasy value, even in a good matchup against the Jets in Week 3.

F me. Gotta bid biggly in the future.
Yeah I wasn't sure how high I needed to go here but I figure how often will a QB come available and in this format they are pretty valuable? - even though I can only likely play him twice this season during Newton and Mahomes' bye weeks it seems worth it.

Yeah I shouldn't have been so cheap.  I'm down to 1 QB and he's a rookie.

I Can Barely Breathe by Manchester Orchestra: Emotionally affective. Had to listen twice. Got me amped.

Cigarettes and Saints by The Wonder Years: Emotionally affective. Similar in feeling to MO. I am obviously in my zone. Great song choice.

Green Grass and High Tides by The Outlaws:  A lesson in how to play guitar in 1975. More jam than a crowded blackberry farm.

Between the Eyes by Low Battery: the intro is, "#### you"  set to music

I made a bunch of pick-ups this week. Had 4 guys on bye this week!

  1. Pick up - Tyler Gabriel (WR) - Chicago Bears.
Moved Greg Olsen (TE) - Carolina Panthers to IR
Tyler Gabriel went to Abilene Christian in Abilene, TX which is about 100 miles from Dallas.
My favorite Stevie Ray Vaughn performance...Pride and Joy (MTV Unplugged)
  2. For some reason, I was quickly nervous about Dan Bailey (who I spent a bunch of Waiver $$$ on the week before) having a poor performance, so I dumped him. And there he goes getting a bunch of points last night!!  :wall: :bag: :kicksrock:
Dropped Dan Bailey (PK - MN)
Added - Adam Vinatieri (PK - IN)
This may be cheating a bit, but...
Queen and Adam Lambert - Who Wants to Live Forever (Live) Adam Lambert is from Indianapolis.
  3. Needed a W/R/T player instead of one that wasn't going to play this year.
Dropped Josh McCown - (QB - NYJ)
Added Rhett Ellison - (TE - NYG)
    Paul Simon - Kodachome

It's probably no surprise that these are both mine.

OK, here we go. I've been cutting back on the beers lately. Not because I drink too much :oldunsure:  but because it makes for an ever expanding waistline... That said, I went for after work beers, then out with the in-laws for dinner which meant a couple more... and wife and I were up at 6 AM to run for said waistline concerns, so she's long gone to bed.  And I'm up and have beer and will update the playlist and listen to more songs and maybe dig into some ITALICS LYRICS
