TE Mark Andrews, BAL (2 Viewers)

In redraft I would drop him for Tucker Kraft. Is he available?

He'll likely be my starter over Ertz going forward. I still own Ertz.

Ironically, I just acquired Ertz in one dynasty league for a 4th and I plan to start him over Andrews going forward. My team is 3-1 but I can't keep getting zeros in my TE slot. Tried acquiring some other guys but TE is such a wasteland most teams are grasping tight onto anyone with a pulse.
 
I think at this point if you don't have an obvious upgrade at the TE position, you just have to roll out Andrews and hope. The good thing at least is that, as of now, there are few difference makers at the position and you're probably not ceding too much of an advantage (if any) to your opponents.

Coach is getting asked constantly about it. Obviously they want to run the ball first and there hasn't been a lot of targets to go around. I do believe there are better days ahead. For those that drafted him early though it can't be good. have to hold if you can.

As for dynasty I wonder what he might cost right now. I love a good buy low.
 
Those of us in dynasty, especially TE Premium, have tougher choices to make.

Thankfully, in the one dynasty TE-P league I roster Andrews, I also have Kraft. So that’s my current fix. But I was hoping to have TWO top 10 TEs to roll out each week, and not one that put up zero points. The Mark Andrews Era barely lasted 2 seasons.

I was actually feeling good about switching to Taysom Hill and his boom or bust nature... Except now Hill is hurt and doesn't play until Monday Night. I might be trapped in Andrews purgatory. Blech...

It seems like this is every Andrews owners strategy this week. It certainly is mine.

Something had to be done.

Kraft might be the last shot at a possible top 10 TE this year.

I would have done the same if there was someone more viable. Put in for Kraft and drop Andrews, but someone beat me to Kraft.

I am tempted to grab him. One click and I got him. Not sure why. I have enough TE dice rolls with T Hill and Pitts. Always fun wondering WHO might actually do something.
 
Well, I didn't get a replacement TE when waivers processed last night so I am going to continue to bite the bullet and keep Andrews in my lineup. Man, just get 5-6 points and not another zero.

Same boat here. Just picked up Hill from waivers and really want to start him. Hopefully we get an update before Baltimore game

I have Andrews, McBride and Bowers in an FFPC dynasty league, and I awarded myself the championship last month and already spent the money.
 
What is going on? Honestly I’ve been busy and not paid much attention but what is happening? This is insane

Major injury last year. A car accident in camp we never got a full accounting of. Not much need thus far in the offense with Henry there now. He's a 29 year old diabettic who's taken a pounding.

He has to be better than what he's been this year

But he may be long gone from what he was other years.

Yes sir! Starting Parkinson with no confidence at all! You see, I also have a dream of Mark Andrews off my roster and magically recouping something of value!

Sunday morning optimism is a helluva thing.
 
Has there ever been a consensus projected top 3 fantasy player at their position literally just stop producing w/o injury being the cause? Been playing fantasy sports for 30 years and don't recall someone fail this hard.

I'll continue rolling him out there in multiple leagues and betting on a reversion.

There has to be a solution to self inflicted pain.
 
5 weeks seems to be officially enough of a sample size to come to the conclusion that outside of a couple of big games, it's not going to happen for Andrews this year. He's got two other TEs on his own team now that are getting just about as many targets as he is.

Officially cutting bait this week.
 
I suppose I won't be dumb enough to start Andrews over Likely again, no matter what Andrews does going forward. Glad it didn't cost me the game. I wouldn't call the targets he got playing from behind anything to be positive about to be honest.
