Looking for some advice on button down shirts to wear with jeans, for going out yet somewhat casual. Weekend date night dinners, barhopping, etc. Have been going untucked in the past but not sure what's "in" nowadays. Hoing to pick up a few before flying to Vegas on Saturday, any help appreciated.

Also, struggling to find shirts / sweaters for casual day to day wear in the fall / winter. Cycling through the few that I have but need to add a bunch more to the queue, suggestions?

As always, TIA.

Oh btw, picked up a few Brooks Brothers shirts at a black friday sale (first time I've gone) for $30 a pop, nice shirts.

I like them. The sole is a bit chunky and I don't love the off-color stitching on the brown version, but overall I'll give them the thumbsup.
Was thinking about grabbing the black ones since they are on sale a lot more.I have some brown leather desert boots, but need some black leather boots when I wear black shirts and/or black jackets.
i'll never understand the appeal of the side-zipper boot.

You want your shirt to be fitted if it's going to be for work and play so it doesn't hang to your knees if it goes untucked. BB has decent quality for dress but not a lot of solid casual options. For some solid casual options, GILT has a lot of nice plaid shirts on sale today. They also have some great Varvatos sweaters but they're $$$ (use this invite link and get 20% off)

Yep, fitted is the key. Untucked is in for casual, but looks terrible if shirt doesn't fit right. The Bottom of the back of your shirt should hit the halfway point of your butt. Any longer and it's too long to be untucked.Fitted, untucked collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up a minimum of 2 rolls is :style: The sloppy rollup to the elbows is the best play, and NEVER do only one roll on the sleeves.

I agree..they look good but are a bit chunky..if you are a big guy you may come off looking like the terminator.

or better yet, something like this: :style:
Jeezus. I think it was two men who entered, but I have no idea how many are likely to leave.

Oh god, lol. :lmao:

I guess I'll just get some black leather desert boots to go with my beeswax pair.

Why hasn't a sportsbook incorporated strippers yet?

Is that like crossing debauchery streams or something?

I'd love to make it rain Stripper Vouchers while sweating some Quiddich action.

Intrigued by this online shop/brand.... need 5 referrals just to shop!

Everlane

Would love to get at least 5 referrals to see if it's worth it.
Signed up. Let me know if they're legit. Sounds interesting if they deliver on quality product. Good marketing idea to give that illusion of exclusivity and build a base.

Yes some of them can get out of hand but the shirts that they scale back on are sharp. They are also made very well and have a nice fit. Here

We differ here. I'm not a fan of a lot of the crazier designs that look like they just threw a bunch of crap at a shirt but I can't handle boring either.

I like them...Most of the time the pattern on the cuff are on solids shirts so they just add a hint pattern to break up the plainness.
