This will knock off $10 trillion over a decade which sounds nice, but Congress just passed their budget last week and it added $10 trillion in debt over the next 10 years. So don't fall into the illusion anything is being saved.

Medical facts got you upset? I was simply commenting on the possibility and pointing out that older father's tend to have more children with issues. For instance DeNiro had a child very late in life that is autistic. He seems to want to blame vaccines as well. But the likelyhood is it's on him.

Washington flourished -- but the people did not share in its wealth

an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge

allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; we've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own

Implies that it if you have done well the last 8 years that you are part of some DC political machine that is aligned against the general public,

Implies the education system is a total failure

Implies our military is a failure and really ignores the hard work of our border patrol agents. I have a friend that worked border patrol and was almost killed defending the border.

So FHA mortgage insurance is now 0.85%. They were going to drop it to 0.60%.  That's a 29.4% drop in funding the insurance pool. Real estate is due for a cyclical correction soon. Not the best idea imo to drop this rate so much.

He definitely took shots at DC. He also took a shot at all educators. He also took a shot at the military and border patrol. I am not complaining about the speech, I mostly thought it was fine.  I am just providing the reasons some could have found it divisive. 

My 9th grade history students did not like it. They were speechless for like 5 minutes. I finally got them to talk and here were their reactions:

- I just can't believe Donald Trump is the President, I always thought he some kind of long running joke

- He said he is going to stop gangs and drugs and terrorism. Great idea, can't believe nobody thought of that before. 

- There were almost no details there, just lots of "tough talk".

- I like America and my school, I don't know why he thinks everything is so bad

- I liked that he seemed to try and talk about bringing everyone together

I know people that went to protest at the Democratic Convention and they claim nearly 20,000 were there protesting (Bernie supporters).  CNN wasn't covering that story either as it did not fit their agenda.

Are we to believe CNN did not have reporters at either event to cover these stories?

It might depend on how you look at it - a progressive (not one) might say that CNN was conservative because it wasn't showing the opposition and rage against Trump.
