These things I'm convinced of (1 Viewer)

Sorry it's so late guys. I attend Western Kentucky University, I'm sure at least some of you heard about the happenings, I've been busy/stressed.

Let's get to it:

The Titans are going to win the AFC South

The Colts couldn't run up the score on the packers, and they can't stop the run. Tennessee will run allover Indy this week.

The people calling Kurt Warner the MVP will be sorely disappointed when Clinton Portis takes it.

Jason Campbell is the best quarterback that no one is talking about.

Can you say ZERO turnovers?

The Bills are headed back to the playoffs.

If there was ever any question post week 1, Pittsburgh will run away with the North.

The Rams are a different beast under Haslett.

Tampa has played way over their heads.

The Bears are better than their record would indicate.

Marvin Lewis will never be fired.

You look at everyone else who no longer holds the same title they held on week 1...Lewis is still going strong.

Terrell Suggs is an idiot.

So was REshard Mendenhall.

No question about it, Tom Brady's injury definitely hurt the Patriots.

The Lions are not going to challenge for the NFC North.

Addai and LJ were possibly the two worst 1st round picks ever.

LenDale White is on pace for 24 TD's?????????????????????????????????

Disagree with Chicago....they ain't dat good. If in order to barely get a victory you require 21 points from defensive and special teams thats pretty sad.....and besides the rediculous Minnesota game I'm referring to, they usually need a defensive TD, blocked field goal or Hester runback as well to squeak out a win.

 I've never heard of Western Kentucky University let alone any happenings there.

I assume you're joking, at least they both had some success. It's funny how this goes in waves. I didn't like those two picks when they were made, but both had some great years. Now, they're struggling again. You just can't tell sometimes.

LenDale is doing a good Jerome Bettis impersonation. There isn't a better RB duo right now than THUNDER and lightning.

 I take it you have both of them in different leagues? Was LJ a 1st rounder in any league? Addai, while disappointing, is far from the biggest bust from this year's 1st round, let alone ever.

:bag: I thought he meant NFL 1sts. :bag: LJ was a 1st round pick in two of my leagues, but that's only because in one I have a few KC fans and the other is a 20 team league.

The Detroit Lions ARE the worst franchise AND team in the NFL.

Peyton Manning cannot carry the Colts on his back.

The Titans are proving that a strong defense and serious running game is STILL the centerpiece of dominating the NFL.

The Arizona Cardinals will win the NFC West easily and get crushed by a wildacrd team from the NFC East.

When the NFL has steroids and so many issues with pot and dmoestic violence they should focus a little LESS on guys like Hines Ward playing hard nosed football and more on their image of a league full of thugs, drug users and malcontents.

The AFC West is almost just as bad as the NFC West is.

Santonio Holmes is officially a bust this year!
I'm still holding on to some hope. He is currently WR35 in my league, a low end WR3. He is currently my WR3 so that's not really a bust imo. I would consider Owens (WR17) and Moss (WR18) busts before Holmes because they were the first 2 taken in most drafts.

Pretty sure that he was talking about his encounter with the law.

Deuce is on the juice
I think that the expectation is that Deuce tested positive for a diuretic (spelling). There was a lot of off-season talk about him getting his weight down and how important the weight loss was to his recovery from knee surgery. I have heard nothing that he tested positive for steroids.

What I'm convinced of:

The intelligence of those posting in the Shark Pool is at an all time low

Between salty wombs, bob wire, mute points, and now kicking players to the curve... it's ridiculous. And to think I used to come here for advice!

Kerry Collins will never get the credit he deserves for QB'ing the Titans. Not that he deserves much for managing the games. However, if Vince Young was the QB of the undefeated Titans, the media would be praising how great he was and that the only reason they are undefeated is because of Vince Young. Man, I am glad he is not the QB.

:thumbup:completely agree here

The diuretic contains a masking agent so there are two possible reasons he did not test positive for steroids: 1) He wasn't taking steroids 2) He was taking steroids but the diuretic effectively masked them.

And people are still reluctant to consider Tenn going far because 'Collins isn't a SB QB", and yet he took 1 team to a NFC Championship and another to a SB.
