Its not like the course would have anything like an Open setup if he went there in prior years. Other than extra time on the greens, don't know what he'd need that he won't get in a few practice rounds the week of.

Its not like the course would have anything like an Open setup if he went there in prior years. Other than extra time on the greens, don't know what he'd need that he won't get in a few practice rounds the week of.

Agreed. But being even a little familiar with the grounds would seem a given.
 
So has pretty much everyone conceded Fin's premise is a total flop yet?

Or are the Tiger Trolls just back in hiding waiting for him to actually lose a tourney or two?

Actually, Tiger has had a replica built in his back yard. It includes all the speed and slope on the greens, and it also includes the computer generated location of where to drop the ball if he hits it into the water, in such a way as to gain a significant advantage.

Two of the biggest A-holes in the game. I like the fact that Sergio speaks the truth about what a surly, unliked guy Tiger is, but his racist comment was immature and over the line.

The Spaniard was on stage at the European Tour's gala players' awards dinner, where he was questioned by the Golf Channel's Steve Sands. García, who has been embroiled in verbal battles with Woods since the Players Championship at Sawgrass this month, was asked in jest if he would have the American round for dinner one night during the upcoming US Open. "We will have him round every night," García said. "We will serve fried chicken."

I'm not sure you have the ability, because you're a pathetic troll, but be honest for once.......what do you think Tiger would prefer....being the number one ranked golfer, or being able to actually win one of the tournaments that really matter? Do you think Federer would rather be ranked #1 by winning a bunch of 'other' tournaments or win Slam events?
