this is a game where Pepi would have a bunch of goals if he was playing. Till and Sabari have both missed a bunch (latter has 2 already, early in the 2nd half)
eta: as soon as I posted this, Pepi started warming up
eta2: Dest seems to have moved to LB in the 2nd half... sounds like there was an injury. and he just beat his man down the left flank and completely shanked his left footed cross.

No surprise but AC Milan is asking that Pulisic not be called up in November and Poch has agreed

banks not at fault on the goal in their 0-1 loss. Was playing as RCB in 3 man back line and then as RB when they shifted to chase a goal. He got forward a bit, looked decent/capable. A good cross and a shot on goal (straight at GK). That was my first time seeing him and he looked the part of a bundie starter.

This was pretty nice, fwiw....ball got cleared out low and hard out of their end, he showed back inside his half with the last defender on his back- caught it on his chest ever so slightly as he turned, allowing it to slip by the defender in the air and into space towards goal. He won the race and hit a nice chip over the onrushing GK.

Interesting to see Lund back in- I've seen his name popping as a starter and doing well lately. always liked his smiley style- appreciate his defensive abilities and his underrated abilities going forward. not athletically elite though.
bummer about CCV, although hopefully we'll see Banks. and I'd have liked to have seen Tolkin again- see what his bundie time has done for his game.
I'm surprised to see Musah's inclusion there- he's not come off the bench for Atalanta lately. I'm a fan, but if he's not getting PT, why is he getting called up? bummer about Tillman.
also bummer about Zen. Aaronson has played his way into things, but I just don't think scrappy-do is enough to really help the team in ways that Zen can.

Lund starting regularly in the Bundesliga is a good sign his development is progressing. The Bundesliga is miles better than Serie B.
Of course that being said, we have a guy with almost 10,000 Bundesliga minutes at only 22 whom seems to be on the outside looking in with Scally so Bundesliga minutes may not mean much to Poch.

Not unexpected but with one of the games in Philly disappointed Pulisic won't get to play in front of the hometown crowd with Hershey only about a couple hours away.
How did I not realize this? Looks like tickets start at about $75, which isn't terrible. I'll almost definitely go to the game. Anyone else going?

My car died so I missed the game today. Was out car shopping instead.
Looks like from the stats Burkino out shot the US by a 2-1 margin but the US had more possession (almost 2-1).
Cavan did not start but from what I read online sounds like he changed the game when he subbed in, even before the goal.
