What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Cigar City hit Se Michigan sometime in the lats 6 months. Meh. I like Jai Alai and it gets here pretty fresh but the market is so flooded that it's tough to compete with local.
:goodposting:

Cigar City just started distro out here in San Diego. Crazy to see all these out of state breweries try to crack this market. I don't think there is much need for a Cigar City out here.

On Thursday driving from Wisconsin to Gatlinburg, TN with the family for a week vacation.  Any recommendations for beer to look for in Gatlinburg?  I noticed online someone called Gatlinburg a craft beer wasteland, but is there anything at the local stores to get that I may not be able to get in Wisconsin?  On the drive home might hit Nashville for a night stay last time I was there stopped in Craft Brewed to pick up some beer to go.  Any recommendations fro breweries to look for at the local store?
I didn't find anything worthwhile.  Did go to Abridged Beer Company in Knoxville and I thought that place was solid

Getting anxious about my first trip to Tree House tomorrow. Myself and a couple buddies have been planning on it for a while. Now, here's to hoping JUICE MACHINE lasts long enough...

:excited:

Hidden Springs Bear Laser IPA

Red Cypress Carl IPA

Trillium DDH Melcher St IPA

TBBC Reef Donkey IPA

Its been a hoppy night

Yesterday:  Visit to 3 Floyds early in the day:  ZD, Alpha King, Permanent Funeral.  Enjoyed some NE beers my son brought back with him to top the night off:  Heady Topper, Focal Banger, Doppleganger, Sip of Sunshine.  Threw in an Old Nation Full Earth just for good measure.

About to open a crowler of Triple Crossing Liquid Symphony for the day (Richmond VA based brewery).

Heading to New Hampshire for the week, and will be in the Portsmouth and the Mt. Washington area. Anything local that I should try to get there, or breweries to try to hit? (I know the craft beer scene isn’t as good there as VT.)

I’m at Inoculum Aleworks in St. Pete.  Many excellent sours sampled, but so far my favorite is Parthenocarpic, a wild tangerine sour.  Great place and brand new.

ETA: The sour Pilsner with honey is awesome

Can't wait to check that place out in a couple of weeks.

Nothing to say in the 49er thread this year?
I don’t follow the 49ers or the NFL as much or hardly at all anymore. I’ll occasionally read the NFL Reddit sub, only to find a lot of “Is Jimmy Garopollo overrated?” threads there. Which I agree, yet 49er fans will extrapolate that he is the GOAT with a small sample size against the weakest part of last year’s schedule, so you can see why I avoid them like they were in the Reddit sub The_Donald. Hell, they all love Jed now after he screwing them over for many many years lol.

So the team gets pointed in the right direction and you jump ship...weird, thats kind of the opposite of how it usually works, but whatever floats your boat, man. I havent heard any 49er fans say they actually like Jed, but Im sure most, including myself, are happy he hired Shanny and Lynch and are excited we might finally have a good QB.

Hey man, you should become a Bucs fan. Theyre pretty dysfunctional, I think theyre right up your alley. lol

I’ve spent many hours and days posting and writing stuff on many 49er boards and blogs for many many years. Been a fan since the 70’s. I’m retired now lol. Besides, the NFL as a whole bores me anyway.

I’ve been a fan of a dysfunctional team. Just because they have a possibility at QB doesn’t mean the 49ers aren’t dysfunctional. They are one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league. All they didn’t do this offseason was fire the head coach, which they did in three consecutive postseasons before.

About to grill some chicken and have the following on hand:

Vooder Ranger Juicy Haze IPA

Octopi Brewing Galaxy IPA

Green Bench Sunshine City IPA

Happy and safe 4th to all you MFers!

Just had a can of Strawberry Lemonade Gose by Escape Brewing, and am now enjoying their The Other West Coast IPA.

Solid under the radar brewery in Trinity.

This overpacked 15 pack by soutgern tier is pretty good. My wife likes the crap blonde ale and the other 4 ipa/pa are really good. I think the tangier is my favorite.

I’ve been up in Maine the last two weeks and went to Maine Beer Company yesterday which was about an hour away from my beach house. Brought home a case of beer which was half Lunch and then a mixture of Thank You (limited IPA release and very tasty) and their Stout. Their Stout is excellent, chocolate and vanilla hints and smooth as a baby’s ###.

Life is good right now.

Waiting out for Cracktus from Hidden Springs.  My first release wait line.  I got here early and it was already 20-25 deep.

I wanted some of that prickly pear dragonfruit goodness but couldn't make it. How is it?

I had a Treehouse Green and Haze tonight. First TH I've had in over a year, it's great as always.

Haven’t had one yet.  I had a Sournote Fruit Punch instead, but planning on cracking one open today.

I've been drinking beer for 45 years.

I can definitively say that the best beer on the planet is the one I drink directly after cutting the grass.

Mango IPA from Hollywood Brewing Co.

Eh.

I'm still trying to capture the mango glory that was Camp Wannamango from Harpoon. Not sure if it was the beer that was so damn good or the fact that I was hot as #### when I visited the Harpoon tasting room in Vermont last summer after hiking 12+ miles in hot as hell weather. Probably a little of both.

Mason’s Liquid Rapture, based out of Brewer, ME.  Picked some up when I was in NH for the 4th. Also brought back some Concord Craft Safe Space NEIPA (already finished those up).
