Schrodinger's WROne report I saw was not practicing but another report said he did practice.

I think with what we've seen from Doubs and Reed to start the season, the Packers are going to spread it around a lot this season.

LaFleur says Christian Watson did not suffer a setback after yesterday's practice. Resting him today was part of the plan in bringing him back.
I like Watsons big play upside

I think Watson could see more than they do combined. He's such a unique talent. Just has to get/stay healthy.I think with what we've seen from Doubs and Reed to start the season, the Packers are going to spread it around a lot this season.

Christian Watson said he returned to practice yesterday for jogthrough after joining trainer on sideline during individual drills. He did not have setback. Watson had hit workload target for practice that day. He says hamstring feels much better than 2 weeks ago, unsure Sunday.
Rather have him be sure than risk a setback.Ryan WoodChristian Watson said he returned to practice yesterday for jogthrough after joining trainer on sideline during individual drills. Christian Watson is warming up on the field at Lambeau at the moment. I have not seen Aaron Jones. Both players questionable with hamstring injuries.
Jason B. Hirschhorn
If Aaron Jones and/or Christian Watson play today, expect the Packers to have them on pitch counts given the short turnaround for Week 4 (Thursday night against the Lions).
And now we extend the inactive streak to 3 games! This is not good, you never thought he was going to miss the first 2 weeks when you drafted him
Most took him as a possible WR2/3, we're not talking about a reserve.
It seems to be trending that he's not playing this weekend.
Packers did win by 18 last week without him
ok but what does that have to do with Watson?Doubs thinks he will play. Game is Thursday.

I think by Sunday we'll know whether he played or not.Predictions this week? Limited Wed / Thurs, game time decision on Sunday?
Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) said that he plans to play on Thursday against the Lions.
When he was asked directly about being on the field on Thursday, Watson said, “That’s the plan.” Obviously, players are always a bit more optimistic about their chances to see the field than teams are, and Watson still has two days of work before the Packers will make the final decision, but it’s still good to hear a player say that he is anticipating being on the field. Getting Watson back in the receiving corps alongside Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs would be big news for Jordan Love and the whole Packers offense on Thursday.
You need to be really desperate to roll the dice this week. players returning off hammy injuries are always so risky.. easy to get burned with a goose egg on a little reaggravation where they then hold him out. also short week with no game action with Love. wait and see approach seems to be most prudent here.
Unbelievable, the worst hamstring injury in history. You would have thought he tore his ACL. If he ever does that his career is over with his ridiculous recovery timeCoach LaFleur just said Watson still has not been medically cleared to play.

Maybe... but how do we know since Watson hasnt played yet?I think with what we've seen from Doubs and Reed to start the season, the Packers are going to spread it around a lot this season.
I think that is why all the questionable players for the Saints game were made inactive, saving them for this game.A guy I listen to says Packers always take the precautionary extra week when a guy is close - so lets hope he's ready. If that's the mindset it makes sense to play him tomorrow with the added time off prior to week 5
exactly....there are teams that are more cautious with injuries and others that seem to throw caution to the wind. The Packers are very cautious as a rule.A guy I listen to says Packers always take the precautionary extra week when a guy is close - so lets hope he's ready. ya, it seemed he was close last week and they sounded optimistic which would support your statement. fingers crossed it's go time for him. It's like having a strong waiver pickup.A guy I listen to says Packers always take the precautionary extra week when a guy is close - so lets hope he's ready. ya, I honestly don't know what to expect. Not a good start but hopefully it's uphill from here. This is either going to go really good (Like when he blew up last year) or really bad (he keeps getting hurt).....
no in between
I mean, I'm not making a declaration of fact and saying I'll eat my shirt if it's wrong. I'm just looking at available information and making an educated guess.Maybe... but how do we know since Watson hasnt played yet?I think with what we've seen from Doubs and Reed to start the season, the Packers are going to spread it around a lot this season.

Fantasy Football is a game of "this is what I think is likely to happen." You draft guys based on the idea that you think they'll be good. You avoid guys that you think will be bad. How do we know anything in the pre-season?
In light of this I don't see why they would risk unless they think he is 100%Interesting schedule quirk for the Packers as it relates to a wide receiver's tricky hamstrings - they play tomorrow night, then are off for 10 days until Monday night 10/9, then have a bye with their next game on Sunday afternoon, 10/22 in Denver. The Monday night game in Vegas will be their only game in a span of 23 days starting this Friday.
Christian Watson (hamstring) is questionable for Week 4 against the Lions.
Watson is still looking to make his 2023 debut after being forced to sit for the Packers’ first three games of the season. He told reporters earlier in the week that the plan is for him to play on Thursday, but that doesn’t guarantee he is active. Fantasy managers will have an answer 90 minutes before kickoff when the Packers release their inactives. If Watson can’t go, Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs will see the bulk of the team’s snaps at wide receiver.

I'm betting Questionable Watson doesn't play. Looking like another bustSince the Lions are basically their only competition for the division title, this game is as big as it gets. I’m betting he’s playing and plays well, mostly on blind optimism
