That would be a pretty good NFL fit for him. Nothing to get too excited about from a fantasy standpoint, but Tannehill appears to like those short to intermediate passes.
Again, i hear this zero speed thing, but i remember him torching a few defenders on a long TD last season. I think he was unmotivated more than sluggish

I knew the exact play you were talking about. Looked into it and the player he beat was safety Quintin Demps (#35) who was benched the week before against the Seahawks. He's now a free agent.
Andre Brown also made it back from an Achilles rupture to put together a string of productive games (albeit many years after the initial injury) before getting reinjured and eventually fading away.
The difference is that DT was explosive again just 10 months after his achilles. It took him awhile but he got better as the season progressed (#5 WR from weeks 13-16 and had 204 yards a playoff game).
It's the patella tendon that's a killer. Demaryius is thriving.
Yeah, I thought about mentioning him, too, but didn't think he was quite notable enough. Plus, during that nice string of games he got injured again so he didn't even get to compile very many stats that year, iirc.
his agent should be competing with Jennings' for the Panthers. Or Saints or Ravens. Browns if none of those work out.

I haven't heard any reports of him being a locker room cancer or causing any trouble. I think his injury sapped him of some of his speed/explosion (which he didn't have a ton of to begin with), and he's priced himself out of the market by setting his price tag too high. He'll latch on somewhere when he's more realistic and takes the "prove it" type deal mentioned above.
There were rumors he was the locker room source on some of the reports of dysfunction last year.
Talent? He was below average before the injury, now he's just a backup level player. Amazing how he was such a high draft pick.
The guy was the top WR prospect of his draft class and touted as a top 5 overall pick by most draft evaluators. It's amazing he fell as far as he did.

Neither guy was going to be Julio Jones but both were derailed by injuries. Crabtree never had a decent QB either. For someone known for route running over speed I think this could've made a meaningful difference.
Is this just lazy trolling? No rational person could believe this. Waldman has touted Crabtree as the pinnacle for route running and his great hands were well known. No one ever claimed he was a speedster but the route running and hands alone made him easily a 1st round pick. As Tool mentioned, Crabtree's path was unraveled by injuries and bad QB play. It remains to be seen if he can overcome the achilles injury or if that will do him in. Selecting the right team and being a model citizen in 2015 will also be critical. The odds are stacked against him at this point so it is easy to pile on, but his 2012 season (primarily the second half w/o Alex Smith) is enough to shut down this kind of trolling.
good point. There's a reason Wes Welker did so well with Brady and before injury with Peyton; while many other similar WRs never reach that level of success. (Not saying Crabtree = Welker, but there are similarities)
Very easy to say that 6 years later but at the time he was one of the better prospects in years aside from Calvin.
