If memory serves, the 3rd QB is usually wasted bucks, as long as you select 2 decent ones to begin with, and they stay healthy.
Sadly, all entries from previous years have disappeared. You used to be able to go to the previous year's subscriber contest thread and click on any link that someone left to their team, then simply manipulate the web address and pull up old rosters, but that's gone now. The only data I kept was K's and D's, because I think that's a solvable puzzle.

If you can mail a cheap 3rd QB and they break out, I suppose it could give you a small advantage simply for diversification, but largely they’re a waste of $, yeah.

Yeah, my 3 cheap K and D are locked in now, and I’d like to say my 2 QBs are locked in too, but once I start messing with the RB,WRs and TEs (actually, I’m very happy with my 3 TEs) then I sometimes shift one of the 2 QBs to shave or add a buck if needed.

Agree. I almost always struggle with RB and this year is no exception.

Always a fun few weeks, I seem to be going back to the same 3 QB's and Def/K's but have done about 20-25 different changes since yesterday, mostly to fix bye conflicts, what I have settled on for the moment....but its a very long way to lock:

Wow. I don’t realize hey was so crappy last year since I didn’t roster him in any of my 5 leagues. But, man, what happened to him that he dropped off so far after his really promising rookie year? Did he get hurt? Replaced? Sheesh.

well lets put it this way: the first 2 players i clicked on in my blank slate on the very first iteration of my rooster for this year were saquon and javonte. sadness ensued.

EVERY Day so far its been like "Oh I'll just change so and so because I want to squeeze in this player here".......then 2 hours later not only have I blown my entire roster up and essentially rebuilt from scratch I end up with practically the same roster in he end. I swear we need a support group:
