So far, so good. Everyone has scored at least once for me, with the exception of Jaylin Lane. Nobody has scored every week except Odunze (scored Weeks 1-4, had a bye in Week 5). Week 5 is/was tied for my biggest bye week with five players. Don't have another week with more than 3 (or more than one bye at any position) until Week 12. Week 12 and 14 are tied with Week 5 with 5 total byes. In Weeks 6-10, I only have a total of 7 byes with no more than 2 in any given week.

Of course, beyond byes, the bigger unknown obstacle is injuries. This week, I could really use Warren coming back for PIT. If not, I'm possibly looking at just Henderson and Croskey-Merritt at RB. That said, I have a full squad of WR/TE available, with the exception of possibly Pearsall (at least for now). So, hopefully, I'll need no more than two scores at RB with WR/TE picking up the slack at flex.

I like that my scores have been fairly consistent, and are trending in a positive direction. That said, we all know how quickly this thing can change. One bad week, and it's all a moot point.

TE position is a concern. Johnson and Ertz have regressed in scoring three weeks in a row. Taylor is trending positively, but if the other two continue to struggle, that may be a problem.

TE Zach Ertz - $9 13.1 21.4 8.3 5.1 0
TE Juwan Johnson - $7 19.6 18.4 14.1 7.3 4.7
TE Mason Taylor - $7 3.5 2 7.8 14 20.2

TOTAL 169.5 165.25 178.55 188.45 192.4
CUT LINE 126.75 127.15 116.8 139.45 144.85

QB C.J. Stroud - $14
QB Geno Smith - $11
QB Aaron Rodgers - $10

RB Omarion Hampton - $23
RB TreVeyon Henderson - $18
RB Jaylen Warren - $17
RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. - $16
RB Jordan Mason - $11
RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt - $6

WR Courtland Sutton - $19
WR Rome Odunze - $15
WR Josh Downs - $12
WR Ricky Pearsall - $11
WR Rashod Bateman - $10
WR Emeka Egbuka - $10
WR Romeo Doubs - $6
WR Jaylin Lane - $2

TE Zach Ertz - $9
TE Juwan Johnson - $7
TE Mason Taylor - $7

PK Graham Gano - $3
PK Cairo Santos - $3
PK Blake Grupe - $3

TD New England Patriots - $4
TD Las Vegas Raiders - $3

Crazy teams still alive include...

18-player roster who spent only $199
20-player roster who spent only $200
3 teams that rostered only a single $10 QB
2 teams that rostered only Chubb/JCM at RB
1 team that spent $26 on 5 RB's
1 team that spent $33 on 6 WR's

Of note:
- 47 teams rostered only 2 WR's. All are eliminated.

A lot of people have Bill.

Bill is pushing the cut line up by himself...

ETA - nearly 2700 teams have Bill and Egbuka - who have combined for 48.5 points so far.
This ended up being 57.3 points for both players - and 2695 teams.
Interestingly 99 of these teams were eliminated this week.

But, still a very good duo with an overall survival rate of 71.6% compared to 46.8% overall.

my 3 TE strategy actually paid off this week, as all 3 of Hock, Mason, and Fannin were needed.

Jameson Williams continues to be a boat anchor. I don’t think he’s cracked my lineup since week 1.
:sadbanana:

@TheWinz - how many Jamo teams left?
Jamo unfortunately no points for blocking for the RBs or drawing coverage away from Amon-Ra. It's a long season and regression to the mean should factor this week, expect a TD vs the Chiefs.

I keep adding Williams to dfs lineups and he keeps taking money out of my wallet.

I'll do you a favor and remove him from my dfs pool. Now he's guaranteed to go off.

Still living with a ton of guys being on bye last week… so glad to have moved on.

Dead money: $24 (Golden, Coker, Bryant, Boswell, Miami D)

This week down Woody, Mason, and Kittle.

Team MVPs (used every week where I could): Metcalf, Egbuka, Warren.

Honorable mentions: Love, Little and Jax D

Jalen Coker (quad) is practicing in full for Week 6 against the Cowboys.

391 owners have been waiting patiently. Curious to see if I will get to use him before being booted.
IM definitely excited to see how he does. More excited to see Tracey come back and get tons of catches hopefully, need the Rb depth.

Through 5 weeks:

POS PPG
QB 35.6. (C. Williams/Prescott)
RB1 16.4
RB2 13.4
WR1 24.9
WR2 16.9
TE 15.9
FLEX1 14.6
FLEX2 12.1
PK 14.0
TD 7.0
ALL - 170.8

Ideally, I'd like to get a few more points from the Flex positions, and RB2. In reality, the RBs will be my downfall - as they are already skewed by a huge week last week.

I did a poor job selecting RBs:

Kyren Williams
TreVeyon Henderson
Jaydon Blue
Jacory Croskey-Merritt
Kyle Monangai

In retrospect, there is rarely a good reason to gamble on speculative RBs. WRs, yes. TEs, sometimes. RBs - very hard to justify. Blue, Bill and Monangai cost a combined $21, and while I don't have the prices available, I am sure there was a decent RB in the 20-21 range. And, admittedly, I did not pay attention to football this summer, and I could have done better than Henderson as a RB2. Sure, there is a chance that Blue, Bill, and MOnangai become fantasy relevant towards the end of the season - but I don't think that justified the risk.

Its been several years since I entered the contest, assuming I am around next year - I'll consider this a lesson learned.
