2025 Year-end Song Draft - We've Started, join in and pick a song or twenty four (2 Viewers)

Local emo band that is blowing up across North America - maybe my album of the year.

This song rocks and gets bonus points for doing the thing where they say their name in the lyrics.

The moon keeps the sun at arm's length
For she fears she would get burned
They have joint custody of earth
They just take turns

Another trip around the sun
Why does it feel like one too much?
Each year's another wound
Death by a thousand cuts

We know the earth is spinning
But we have never seen it spin
I like to think that you're still here in that same sense

10.NV - Arms Length - Fatal Flaw

@shuke if memory serves you don't have any of The Wedding Present on the list. I think you would dig them. I was listening to the album Valentina the other day and think you'd dig that one.

Release radar just dropped a new tune of theirs on me today. Alwyas dug them

Was it Two for the Road? ;)

9. Daniel Donato - Chore

I've seen him a couple times with his "Cosmic Country" band. Somewhat hit or miss for me, a lot of his studio stuff is too country for me. But he puts on a pretty good live show.

Things really get going at about the 7:00 minute mark of this one.

10. Circles Around The Sun - Golden Boot

This is a band previously fronted by Neal Casal, their first album was primarily recorded for pre-show and set break music for the Dead's "Fare Thee Well" 50th anniversary shows, where I first heard them. These are primarily Dead song inspired instrumentals. Neal died about 5 years ago but I just saw on Spotify that a new album was released.
