The album is good, and I'm glad somebody took a song. Nothing jumped and grabbed me as "the" song to take on it, despite likikg all of them pretty well9. shame — Lampião
Not your typical shame song but my favorite from the album. Who doesn’t like a song about a 1930s Brazilian bandit?

Only if 2025 didn't. Otherwise that would be 26 years.
I think I'd prefer it - if we are to limit the quarter century draft to 25 years - using 2000 instead of 2025. That way, the 4th time we do this, we wouldn't be using the year 2100, we'd stop at 2099.

Squistion already posted a good song by The Marias but I prefer Maria Zardoya’s solo side project, Not for Radio. As the name suggests, it’s purposely less popish. It became an excellent album for me to fall asleep to. I don’t mean that in a bad way at all.

I've seen him a couple times with his "Cosmic Country" band. Somewhat hit or miss for me, a lot of his studio stuff is too country for me. But he puts on a pretty good live show.

This is a band previously fronted by Neal Casal, their first album was primarily recorded for pre-show and set break music for the Dead's "Fare Thee Well" 50th anniversary shows, where I first heard them. These are primarily Dead song inspired instrumentals. Neal died about 5 years ago but I just saw on Spotify that a new album was released.
