Digested this one one my walk today. A very pleasant listen. Nothing jumped out as an immediate win, but I enjoyed it enough to keep it in my rotation to see if anything grows on me. Much appreciated!Eephus said:

Young Guv II branches out a bit more than Young Guv I did. Instead of the more direct Big Star/Teenage Fanclubisms of YGI, he's gone for a broader 1975-85 sound. It would be very radio-friendly if radio didn't suck nowadays.
I feel like there's a handful of bands doing the PC thing...and I'm liking most of them.
Neil's albums are so varied and numerous, you're probably best off starting with his Decade compilation. That'll cover the high points of the first ten years of his career.

speaking of wierd ####: Otoboke Beaver - Yobantoite Mojo hit my release radar and about half way though, after my initial WTF face shook off I realized that I loved it, and playlisted it immediately.

I like this.. interesting little set.. not sure it will get much enthusiasm from anybody else in my periphery
Omni, Squid, b boys....there's another couple similar jangly post bands I can't think of... Liking all of those. Also liking the recent Battles I've heard. Will have to check out those others if I haven't already.
