Did we really get a "beast" for 2.5 million? Is there an OT worth signing in the 1st? We just signed a beast from DEN, rather not waste a 1st rounder on OL unless he's a stud.

He's an OT in the NFL, kinda by definition he has to be a beast. Can he play? I have no idea.Did we really get a "beast" for 2.5 million?
It's a flurry of news!!!!
Per Mike Garafolo, Former Broncos OT Donald Stephenson headed to the Browns on a one-year, $2.5m deal, source says
Ummmm...Hey Joe Thomas....ummm.....![]()

Least it sends a message to JT to #### or get off the pot.
Seems really stupid if any cleveland fan alive felt this way about ThomasLeast it sends a message to JT to #### or get off the pot.
And on a 1yr deal....Did we really get a "beast" for 2.5 million?
sign OT Chris Hubbard to a 5-year deal worth $37.5M with nearly $18M guaranteed,
Not quite $2.5 million.Did we really get a "beast" for 2.5 million?
Andrea HangstVerified account @FBALL_Andrea 14s15 seconds agoAnyone know much about HUbbard? A good right tackle would be a nice thing to have. Doesnt seem like it will impact or imply anything with the Thomas/Solder situation.
Ogbah will bench press Stephenson into the backfield on his first few reps and that will be that.
As always, thanks for your comments. JT has earned the right to take as long as he wants to tell the Browns what he is doing. Personally I think they’ve already had the discussion based on the OT activity today but one thing is for sure, the Browns aren’t waiting around on him.Seems really stupid if any cleveland fan alive felt this way about Thomas
Hate to quote but he's right about this:Decent money to a 26 year old > big money to a 30 year old.
Sorry, but it;s just idiotic to view thomas with a "#### or get off the pot" attitude.![]()

I guess that’s what Beer said, but if he had chosen his words differently he’s right. I’d guess Thomas has informed the Browns already, but if he hasn’t by FA Eve then that’s kind of a D move. Would be for Tom Brady too. It’s called, holding the team hostage.Sorry, but it;s just idiotic to view thomas with a "#### or get off the pot" attitude.
Is it really a D move when coming off injury he very well might not even be sure if he CAN play at the level he wants? Didnt he JUST start working out again?I guess that’s what Beer said, but if he had chosen his words differently he’s right. Their is talk about moving either Coleman or Hubbard to the left side.I think the Holidays bbard signing was more to shore up the RT spot. I think Joe comes back, if even for one season. Hubbard will start at RT, Stephenson is depth.
JT is said to be telling the Browns tomorrow about his decision to play. I think he plays and the FO drafts a rookie to groom, knowing they can swing Hubbard in if they need to do so.
I’d sign Solder either way.Is it really a D move when coming off injury he very well might not even be sure if he CAN play at the level he wants? Didnt he JUST start working out again?
Also, hmm, what happens if we sign Solder and then JT comes back? Sign Solder and trade Thomas. Boom
I would sign Solder also. Why not. Especially if we know we aren't going to be able to get any other top guys and will have a lot of cap room left.I’d sign Solder either way.
Yes, I think it is. We’re talking a matter of hours/days at this point.
Again, thank you for the kind thoughts. Every day he doesn’t commit forces the team to make decisions they otherwise wouldn’t have. JT has known what the decision is but like all that are coming to the end of the line, he’s having a tough time pulling the trigger. GB him for the #### sandwich CLE has fed him for all of his career but if he would have told the team his intentions last week even when he hinted he would, then do you think we sign both these guys? Now?Sorry, but it;s just idiotic to view thomas with a "#### or get off the pot" attitude.
If he wasnt coming off season ending surgery a few months ago I would agree.Again, thank you for the kind thoughts. Love me some Joe, hate the game he’s playing.
"everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face"......Mike TysonPer @tomecurran Nate Solder will NOT be taking any visits and still top priority is to remain with #patriots.

Honestly makes sense for him and his family. I read his son is really I'll, so it's probably better for him if he doesn't up root them. I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots told him to look around to confirm value then they would match it. I don't see them letting Solder walk.Per @tomecurran Nate Solder will NOT be taking any visits and still top priority is to remain with #patriots.
yeah yeah, I looked it up right when I sent that cause I knew it was wrong"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth." - Also Mike Tyson![]()
So then take more money and move to Cleveland...................Cleveland CLinicHonestly makes sense for him and his family. I'm with you on this.Saquon behind this line is going to be LUSCIOUS.
Helluva pitch to have to make. If his kid is sick that would be a tough ask to uproot them to come to CLE. Agree he would be a great get though. So then take more money and move to Cleveland...................Cleveland CLinic![]()
PacMan Jones....come on, er, up to CLE!!!!Trumaine Johnson to the Jets. That hurts. He was one I really wanted to see in CLE.
Who's left? Honey Badger? Melvin?
And Cousins is very happy someone else offered it.I would have been happy to pay that contract for Cousins here. Oh well
Exactly. Hence our reality of playing at a competitive disadvantage. And Cousins is very happy someone else offered it.
Yep, he decides when he's ready. No rush.If he wasnt coming off season ending surgery a few months ago I would agree.
Stevenson is a nothing contract. It's just the current state of the OL on the NFL. It's awful. Demand > supply.Their is talk about moving either Coleman or Hubbard to the left side.
Hubbard is getting paid, he is not a backup or swing player he is going to start.
I don't think Dorsey would sign two veteran FA OTs if Joe was coming back.
I'd imagine the Jets might still. Dolphins as a dark horse and I think the Cardinals can't be serious if they think Bradford is their answer. So who were our potential trade partners to move up to 4 for a QB and what does it look like now?
Is it just Buffalo?
Lots of teams will be interested in moving up. Doesn't mean we should be the ones to move down though. So who were our potential trade partners to move up to 4 for a QB and what does it look like now?

Well no, not for the sake of moving down, of course not.Lots of teams will be interested in moving up. Doesn't mean we should be the ones to move down though.
