Not saying anything bad about Buff talent, just my opinions. The bolded I'll give you, but the others are iffy. McCoy and Clay benefited the most from Taylor.
Watkins I think benefited by not being the #1 WR on the team. He's better suited as a #2, IMO. With that said, his numbers actually went down in LA vs his time in Buff.
Woods maintained the same level of play in LA as he had in Buff, which was decent as a role player - not a top talent.
Hogan had a good 2016, but fell back into the same level of play in Buff, which was decent as a role player - not a top talent. One could argue his uptick in 2016 was due to the numerous injuries NE had in their WR corps and Hogan was the recipient due to being healthy and on the field (no one else to throw to).
Benjamin was there for 6 games, he didn't provide much.
The one thing Buff has/had over CLE, IMO, was the depth talent at WR. That cupboard is bare in CLE. There is Gordon and Landry, then that's it. Coleman, Louis, et al aren't worth anything - even with a decent QB.
Taylor will raise the level of play, but he still needs to have good talent around him - which is why I think he'll be a stable bridge QB. He's not the end-all, be-all at QB, but better than anything we've seen for some time now.
