Genrepalooza 3: Playlists are done, phwew (2 Viewers)

Alrighty...

My 1st round pick was Crazy by Gnarles Barkley - this will follow the general theme, but hopefully, it may be a new song to some.

2.08 Heartless Bastards - Hold Your Head High - HearYa Live Session (Female)

I told the story of how Adam played Crazy for me in '08; well, this is what I sent him a few years later - in return - as my journey kept progressing upwards. I would like to post the lyrics, as it is not a big hit, and the words mean sooo much to me.

Like a new, less obscure Cocteau Twins track (Robin Guthrie actually did a remix for it, but I'm taking the original), and it's just lovely.

Cool beans on the changing of the home category. I've been dying to do a rap/hip hop draft so I'll change mine to that category. 

 
My buddy who does the beer for the local craft beer bar called me at noon to see if I wanted to meet him for lunch. Wife had stuff to do with her parents anyway. Sent other (music festival) friend a message and he joined as well. 

Had a blackberry/raspberry sour, an incredible India pale lager and a dry hopped sour. 

Tonight there's a Leafs game on TV at 7 and a Tokyo Police Club concert at the local dive bar at 10.

So I may not end up back in this thread tonight but it's going to be a good night 🍻  :headbang: :suds:

Albums are a different beast from singles and the Genrepalooza format intentionally shuffles the deck, but it's interesting to me to see how our tastes have shifted since 2011.  The earlier draft was very rock centric and tipped heavily toward male artists.

For some reason, I get an error when I tried the playlist links in the OP. Is that the wrong place to go?

Also, I checked out the spreadsheet - nice.

However, I wanted to see how each person was drafting - so that I could get an idea of the type of "theme" each person was forming (now that most have 2 picks) -  but, if I tried to sort by drafter, it would have changed the sheet for everyone.

Would it be possible for me to copy that list, and create a 2nd page - that is sorted by drafter?

Or, does that already exist somewhere?

This is fun, btw.

You can filter the Google sheet by clicking the triangular icon to the right of the label in row #1.

ETA:  the playlist links work for me.  Anybody else having problems?
