My point was how exhausted he was, not so much how he performed. He was good through 3, round 4 he was done. This was also in his 30s, not his 50s.The two minute rounds help Tyson but if he has any chance he’s going to have to put Paul away early. He was gassed in round 4 against Danny Williams 20 years ago. I’m guessing his stamina hasn’t increased at 58 and largely out of boxing all together.
Tyson tore his ACL in round one. Danny Williams has a 31-3 pro record.
Those two are professionals, Jake Paul is not.
I repeat. He had a torn acl. In round one, which he won. He then proceeded to fight the next 2-1/2 rounds on a torn acl.
I’m not being a fanboy for Tyson here. I always rooted for Holyfield.
With all that said, you’re not wrong, Tyson has long since been washed. I just think his pedigree trumps Paul’s youth.
