Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul? (1 Viewer)

The two minute rounds help Tyson but if he has any chance he’s going to have to put Paul away early. He was gassed in round 4 against Danny Williams 20 years ago. I’m guessing his stamina hasn’t increased at 58 and largely out of boxing all together.

Tyson tore his ACL in round one. Danny Williams has a 31-3 pro record.

Those two are professionals, Jake Paul is not.

My point was how exhausted he was, not so much how he performed. He was good through 3, round 4 he was done. This was also in his 30s, not his 50s.

I repeat. He had a torn acl. In round one, which he won. He then proceeded to fight the next 2-1/2 rounds on a torn acl.

I’m not being a fanboy for Tyson here. I always rooted for Holyfield.

With all that said, you’re not wrong, Tyson has long since been washed. I just think his pedigree trumps Paul’s youth.

My point is, he looks amazing. He is still Mike Tyson. If a legit fight, I don't see how Tyson doesn't murder him in the middle of the ring.

if you mean the most "future money", the dream scenario, if it was really a legit fight, would be an 8 round, back and forth match where it does not matter who wins, but that it was entertaining enough and had enough quality to warrant a rematch in 6 months.

I did notice that the betting establishments are taking action on the fight but that may not indicate anything since I think you can bet on professional wrestling these days.

Look this is probably not going to be a legit fight. However if it is….Tyson has a haymakers chance. If a boxing match actually occurs….he will be beaten pretty badly. He has not been even a decent boxer in over 30 years.

If Tyson can fight inside...and has his uppercut left in the tank...he has a puncher's chance. But if Paul stays on the outside and works that jab all night....Tyson really has no chance. He is 58, has not fought well since pre Holyfield (hell I go back to right before Buster Douglas....because after that fight he was never ever the same guy....really he lost a lot after that fight). Tyson was a brawler. A great defensive fighter in his prime in his early 20's. And simply hit guys so hard....just devastating on the inside. He does not have that anymore and has not had that in decades.

I just don't see it unless this thing is totally rigged or Paul is that incompetent.

All Tyson needs is about 30 seconds of Iron Mike and they'll be retrieving Paul's jaw from the 10th row.
