Music Draft - Rolling Stone Greatest 500 Songs Garbage List - Now with unhealthy regional pork-stuffs! (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I'm going. Everyone is playing it cool. I found out we're going to sit away from the students, etc. Smart. Thanks, guys.

Appreciate it.
Oh yeah, if it's anything like the games around here you don't want to get near the student section. Crowd surfing, beverage throwing, etc. It's like being in the mosh pit at a rock concert. I am way too old for that ####.

I can handle that -- I was more worried about the berth of his cool.

I took the new sheet Kilgore Trout created and filtered out songs that have already been drafted.

It's called SONGS REMAINING and all cells are shaded a relaxing light green so you won't mistake it for the real song list

I like this a lot.  Just want everyone to know that I'm not going to update that sheet, too, so unless it removes them automatically, they shouldn't rely on it past this very moment.
I don't want to mess with Eephus's filter, but the conditional formatting is still working on it, so on that list, a song in red has been taken (London Calling turned red). My list was just a basic copy of the song list with the same action of turning red when it is taken, but with allowing it to be sorted or filtered.

Newly drafted songs will appear in angry red but if you re-filter by color they'll go away leaving only the calming light green songs to ponder.

I forgot I was the owner of the spreadsheet because it all started from the crappy song list I pasted from somebody's blog.

My youngest nephew was embarrassed one time when I picked him up at elementary school in the station wagon. The color ran out of his face when he spotted my car in the pickup line. He ducked into the car, and he asked why I drove it to get him, and I told him because it is the finest car in town, and I wanted to make his peers jealous. He told me it was really ugly and looked like a spaceship. I told him it was the mother ship, and you don't get better than that.

The lord's work from these two right here.

I have two hummingbird feeders back there, but for some reason they're really going for this one.  I get so many of them out there!  They're all Anna's hummingbirds; the males in particular are so gorgeous.
We have mostly ruby throats in our yard.  We also get a nice variety of butterflies, dragonflies, and green anoles.

And we get cottontails.  They just sit around and munch while we watch.  They are extremely cute.

She wrote "I Will Always Love You" so Porter Wagoner could get it in his head that she wanted to leave their partnership. I don't know if Jolene was written the same day. Porter produced both the songs.
Dolly says they were written on the same day.  How does she do that?

In fact, probably better if you do this.  If I see that you want what I am already planning to take right now, I'd probably change my pick so it doesn't look like I cheated.  And I don't want to change my pick.  ;)
Just don't open the message until you've picked.

So this draft is going to get way more stressful as we whittle down the groups. For the 325-350 group, I’ve been nervous for a while because I only had 1 more song in my Want list, and all the other were in my Do Not Want list (with no remaining on the Neutral list). It was a sweat waiting this out the last couple rounds.  Didn’t take it earlier because there were other songs in other groups I like better but can’t wait any longer

With that said, Yo Mama selects:

#330 - Big Poppa - The Notorious B.I.G.

Enjoy BTS, Bad Bunny, and Cher, losers.

Baby baybay!

I’ve sent a list for my next two picks to @Ilov80sand @Binky The Doormat(thanks to you both).

It is still 3 hours before kickoff but Mrs. Punk and I started 🍻early and I’m not too confident I’ll remember if I don’t do it now.

Enjoy the banter all ... go Blue Bombers!

It's a strong group.  He obviously loves "Your Song" based on his last countdown thread.
For sure - that 25 has 2 of my top 50 favorite songs of all time in it (from that favorite songs post I did 3 years ago), plus a bunch of other really solid tunes.

#368. Black Hole Sun   Soundgarden

Not my fave from Soundgarden.  Outshined or Rusty Cage shoulda made it over this one, but it's Cornell and Thayil two of my faves.  Beggars can't be choosers when it's a RS list

@Manster can select if he does not choose from the 201-225 grouping.  However, if he wants to take from that group OR if what tim selects in that group affects his strategy as to whether he wants to take anything from that group, then he can continue to wait it out.
Same deal now for @the moopsYou may select if you do not choose from the 201-225 grouping.  However, if you want to take from that group OR if what tim selects in that group affects your strategy as to whether you want to take anything from that group, then you can continue to wait it out.

But can he croon?

The Coconut Banger's Ball: It's a Rap

Hold off on this.  @Manster, we have a problem and you need to repick.  You already have #363, Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" from that grouping.  Repick, please.
