I initially read that as "spreadsheets".The sheets will have to be changed after these two songs are finished.

No Diggity came out 25 years ago. And there's no way to consider it "spoken poetry", it's got really melodic singing in it.
Maybe you're thinking of a different No Diggity.
Luther Vandross - Never Too Much - His voice is obviously terrific, but this one is too overproduced for my taste.
I'M JUST CATCHING UP AND SEE THAT SOMEONE TOUCHED THE SPREADSHEETS
I tried listening to a couple songs i'd never heard of, in a block with nothing left....Bad Bunny, Saefara and BTS, Dynamite......I think I made it like 20 seconds into both.
That was me 2-3 days ago and why I took Elvis from there.I tried listening to a couple songs i'd never heard of, in a block with nothing left....Bad Bunny, Saefara and BTS, Dynamite......I think I made it like 20 seconds into both.
Correct. But he's rarely on at night, so we don't expect him to pick before morning.@El Floppo is up right? If he picks soon I can get mine in now. Otherwise it'll be like 7am est.
Glad you noticed. I was going to double down on ooh la la or politics. The debate led to a face palm... duh me.The sheets will have to be changed after these two songs are finished.

Also, I stopped whining but @Yo Mamahas picked off the top of my list after I pick, over and over again. Not a big 2Pac fan, but California Love is my jam. I've drafted it before and explained the Clippers DJ in Staples Center plays it about 30 minutes before tip off when there's less that 7k people in the arena. Through that sound system, several NBA players warming up on their own (some to the music), about a third of the crowd singing and dancing... it's my bball song. Hurt me when I saw it go.
The thought of Steve Ballmer dancing to California Love has ruined the song for me
I drafted Bad Bunny Con Calma after seeing him/them at Coachella. Way better song than Saefara. And don't translate the Spanish. Horrible....The second half of Saefara is better than the first IMO

Awesome! It’s also Kenley Jansen’s walk up song at dodger stadium. The stadium goes nuts when it starts playing (and then everyone starts stressing out).Chaos Commish said:Also, I stopped whining but @Yo Mamahas picked off the top of my list after I pick, over and over again. Huh. I hadn't checked in since the morning games. You won, 97-87. Nice work, Chaos.Chaos Commish said:In a tight FF battle with @rockaction atm. Made the night game too much fun. I quit ff in 2016 until this year. Forgot how it could improve a rain soaked mess of a game.
Bono takes a much darker turn in this song:#62 ...One - U2
I was almost sure this would be the one left from this group. I would have gladly taken it as a last pick. That's what little I have of strategy for this, now foiled by Manster.Manster said:#448. Tyrone. Erykah Badu.
Not my favorite of hers, but I really like her a lot. Mama's Gun is the first album of hers I heard and it's great album. If I had to pick one somg of hers itd prolly Breath on My Neck
Really? I likely would have asked when I was gonna see the surprise. Oof.krista4 said:OHHHHHHHHHHHH!
My mom's surprise was that they bought a Subaru. Not kidding. That was it. I have had a dozen or more Subarus going back to 2006(?). I get a new car every year or so, usually, though three years now, and it's always a Subaru. So I guess the excitement was that they finally traded in their 2015 Toyota Venza(?) for a Subaru?
Woot, thanks for the "surprise," mom! A kitten couldn't have been as good as that!

Maybe I'm not just a crusty rocker after all....lol.I was almost sure this would be the one left from this group. I would have gladly taken it as a last pick. That's what little I have of strategy for this, now foiled by Manster.
I went to the Washington @ Michigan game a couple weeks ago.Round 11
133 Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey
kind of stuck on where to go so I’ll tackle a group I don’t love with a song that’s cheesy but is too much fun. It’s partly a Michigan thing. We just like this song more than most. We have a penchant for this kind of 70s-80s classic rock and it of course had the odd South Detroit reference. You play this at a big Detroit sporting event or at a bar on a Saturday night and the whole place will sing along. Every time.
Yeah it’s just a thing here. It’s played at most weddings as well- to the same result.I went to the Washington @ Michigan game a couple weeks ago.
You're not kidding about this song. All 109,000 people were up and singing this in a 3rd quarter time out. I couldn't believe it.
I like it more. I think it's his best song. Talking about going to Clipper games. It's a 2hr drive for us, but I've taken my daughter dozens of times. West coast games start at 7pm. End around 10. Post game traffic. A stop at InNOut. We get home around 1am. The highway is high above our desert city in a valley. It is a beautiful sight at night. All the lights below mean we're almost home. Solisbury Hill became a tradition when we head into the valley. Took us home a few dozen times. Lovely song.I just realised that Solisbury Hill is the Peter gabriel song here. I love the song, but in what universe is it better than In Your Eyes?
In your eyes
The light, the heat (in your eyes)
I am complete (in your eyes)
I see the doorway (in your eyes)
To a thousand churches (in your eyes)
The resolution (in your eyes)
Of all the fruitless searches (in your eyes)
Picking Radiohead songs way later than if you were in the draft.Still don't understand what you crazy kids are doing in here.![]()
I think we should follow this up with a very simple but fun draft: choose songs that are not on this list but should have been. It doesn’t have to be different artists. This would be a good pick.I just realised that Solisbury Hill is the Peter gabriel song here. I love the song, but in what universe is it better than In Your Eyes?

I love both of those versions, but I prefer Derek & The Dominoes' take over them.Jimi- Little Wing (1967) #188
had always thought this was a Stevie Ray tune and always loved it... loved even more as a Jimi tune
