**Saturday Showdown #3 - Broncos 7-6 at Lions 9-4**(-4.5, 48) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Just noticed my opponent in local league started Riley Patterson. Oops.

He’s a really intense player too. Might have broken the F bomb record when he saw that. Probably a Christmas distraction
Just saw the same thing happened in my league. Owner is super competitive.

Assuming they don't convert on 3rd down, I say no FG here, go for the dagger. Broncos can't cover both ARSB and LaPorta, they are too weak in the middle.

Sitting Higgins for Sutton not working out. Sure wish Gibbs got to play more he is so electric.

No clue why Denver took a timeout when they did on a 2nd and 2 seems stupid.

Imagine how much scarier the Lions would be if the D didn’t know it was a Montgomery vs. Gibbs drive and had to account who ran on and off the field.

Kinda loving my redraft league where I have Goff, LaPorta, & St Brown.

10 points at 300+ passing, 5 at 100+ receiving, too. 2nd half should be fun.

Shaping up to be a run heavy 2nd half for Detroit. Good for Monty/Gibbs owners.
I mean, it could, but if I'm the Lions, why? They'll be playing run, and Goff has needed the confidence boost. Why not keep the foot on the gas?
I expect them to be balanced in the 3rd & go run-heavy in the 4th. Monty is their closer. That’s often when he breaks some big runs against a tired D, too.

I think Detroit plays the 2nd half the same they did the 1st. They know the defense isn't great and leads aren't safe in the NFL.

Right. Just see the Saints game about how "safe" a 21-0 lead is. That was in the 1st quarter and not at halftime. But still.
